If I were to put a blower on my 06 GTO it would take the Terminator no problem.
Oh yeah, no dout, but i will give Ford this, I was actually impressed at the Mach 1's. When my buddy bought his, I thought it was just going to be another slow 4.6, but i only out ran him buy like 1 car in my vette, and both of us had simular mods. He ran a 8.4 in the 1/8 with street tires and my best was a 8.3, but in the 1/4 i ran a 13.2 and he ran a 13.7. But he knows how to drive and can cut 1.8 60's on street tires.

That's a dang good 60 on street radials.

I am curious though..do you know his shift points? 13.7 with a Sub 2.0 60' doesn't seem right.

Well his shift points arent stock because he has a diablo programmer but its a 5spd, but when he ran that 13.7 his 1/8 was only like a 9'0 because it was a different track. So i figure if he would get a 8.4 1/8 it would have dropped his 1/4 mile to like a 13.3 13.4. The reason he cuts 1.8 60's is because he rides out the clutch. It works, but he had to replace the clutch with a spec 2

+1 My 04 was running 13.2 @ 105 and I lined up against one with slicks and headers and well he ran 12.78. I holed him and was right on his *** though. The look on his face was priceless in the traps when he turned and saw me about a half car back. He nearly went into the wall. He'd been reading those magazine articles about the 13.5 second GTOs. We were both running in the 13-13.99 class so it was an all time personal best for him too.

That don't sound right.........my 2v stock with dr's was going 13.8. a mach 1 should be in the low 13 range even with street tires. I guess driver mod is key. I had 2 years seat time with my 2v before I modded.

If he is stock, He should be easy. I raced a Lightning and once i got to 2nd gear, I started pulling him pretty good. I beat it in my LT1 so it can't be to hard to beat.

One race is not the end all. Why does everybody post like that?

Like i said he ran a 8.4 with a 1.8 60' at a 1/8 mile track. Then when he went to the 1/4 mile track, his best 1/8 mile time was a 9.0 with like a 2.0 60'.
