You guys are retarded...What causes the blower whine? When the supercharger builds boost you get the whine. Now how do you build boost while out of a gear? Hmmm lets start by what do you need to build boost anyways? LOAD ON THE MOTOR...Now that we know what needs to be done to build boost how do we make load on the motor without putting it in gear? WOT reving. That why my 5 speed Cobra left the line with about 3-4psi of boost. You could even use the rev limiter as a 2-step on a Cobra which I've done. That also builds load. I didn't think it was so hard to understand why a 03 Cobra CAN build boost/"whine" by reving. Same reason you can hear a BOV on a turbo car by reving it the same way. It has nothing to do with the 03 Cobra...all positive pressure cars with a manual tranny are that way.

Quit bitching about the fact that your car is slow. You don't hear a 10 second LS1 owner crying because the 03 Cobra has a supercharger on it. So you're saying that anything with a blower or turbo is modded from the factory? I don't even own a 03 Cobra so I'm not going to defend one that much. I'm just pointing out that you're damn retarded for stating that. With that said look at my puny little 302cid motor in my sig. Its faster than your 346cid motor and its N/A. Now what were you saying about I need a blower to be fast? Like I said...

I ain't crying about the fact they have a blower. It's just the way a lot of cobra owners compare GT's to Z28's and SS's to cobras. It's not even the same thing. Atleast around here it's how they compare them. I LIKE COBRAS like I said before, no problem with them at all. I just get tired of cobra owners acting like their blower isn't an advantage.

I wasn't gonna say anything but you seem awfully impressed with your H/C/I 5.slow putting out the same HP as my stock ls1 lol.

Give me a 347 and let me show you what I can do with it. Hell the only reason my car makes such low hp is because of piston to valve clearance. (its on stock pistons). And lets see your dyno sheet of your car making the power mine does stock, I'd like to see that.

car, blown LSx cars, etc. It's not as simple as bolting on a supercharger.
Plenty of guys here have LS1's with blowers that aren't even running 10's

It's not if I had a blower argument for god's sake. I don't even care if an 03 cobra is faster than me, I never claimed my car is fast...it's ******* STOCK. I'm not making excuses either, i'm just stating that cobras are so easy to make fast because they have blowers. They are fast from the factory, then you add a pulley to that it's well in the 400+ rwhp range. So i'm just saying that they are at an advtange. Because of the blower and forged internals from the factory.
