yeah it is, you should you try some! your dyno # are waaaay to high for me your pushing some serious hp there buddy.. are you sure your car is even legal to be driving on the street? Don't mean to be busting your bubble but you have no room to talk about someone elses car. You live in Tx? maybe we can run them and you can can see how much of a beast my car is.

You better have a whole book of mods that you are leaving out of your sig. And no I don't live anywhere close to TX. If you want to visit the east coast I got a dark blue 99 you can run.

Not with my DD WRX no. By the end of spring it will be only putting 350awhp. But thats my year round family sedan.

The plans for the IROC. Well, thats going to be a LS1 with a custom (STS wanna be) twin turbo. I already started picking up parts for it but I don't expect it to be done till next summer.

You can hate on my WRX all ya like but it will be running 11's and is my daily driver. I don't know what your C5 runs but if it's anything close to stock you should keep your mouth shut.

Gotta love driving around a 11 second daily driver. Atleast I do...Keeps you from saying "Damn I wish I had driven the ___ today!"

The old Cobra vs. LS1 argument again. On average Cobras are more expensive, and also faster. Modded, wgaf but it will probably cost you less to get an LS1 in say the 10s. Why are people still arguing about this?

Isnt a Cobra a mid 30k car new? A loaded WS6 was like 33k new. The Cobra is way faster than the Ws6 stock for stock and the prices are close.

And yes this arguement is stupid and very old.

If you have a blower on your LSX, you're just gonna find the limits of the stock short block. Just like you would find them with a H/C N20 setup.

Maybe the argument should be "If I had a blower, forged internals, and supporting fuel upgrades..."

Last dyno was close to 600hp. Close enough to stock for you?
Btw, I wasn't hating on your ride, just had to say something since everyone else was going at it.

The blower arguement is pretty funny, I have to admit. Being supercharged does not = fast times. It takes a lot, and superchargers aren't the best way to get there, I would know. I gave up nitrous for the blower. The blower is more of a fun factor type of setup.

That's why I said average. The average of all LS1 F-bodies wasn't 33k new.

Well, its was more of a spurr of the moment type of deal, lol. cobras arent that hard to beat with simple bolt-ons, but im not saying theyre easy either, defenitly one of the best competitions for us. Anythign is possible on the street! (traction issues, miss a gear, traction control on, anything)

Right...but you can't compare an "average" fbody with a Cobra either.
You have to look at the '02 SS or the '02 WS6. I've seen plenty around
$33K. Pretty close in price.

Let it go people...seriously. It's getting stupid.
