p.s. don't sleep on TBI, i got mine (91 RS) down to 14.2's with the stock cam and chip still in it at full weight. they respond to little things waaayyyyy mor ethan you woudl think they should

next time he drives away, listen to it. if it sounds cammed, loud, lopey, or even remotely healthy he might give you a run for your money. i've seen some shitty looking cars with built engines at the track running in the 7's. it could look crappy but you dont know what's going on in the engine till you hear it running. some people are into function>form so much that as long as it's fast they dont give a **** what it looks like.

I will also doubt that he ever raced the guy. I think if he would have raced, he would have hurried back on here to tell everyone how bad he whipped his ***. Anyone who's scared to line up against a 5-speed IROC in an LS1 F-body isn't going to be doing much racing.

The T-5 casing would distort under high torque. The gears would then grenade as they shifted inside.

I outran a IROC for christ sake. No I don't know the year, or engine, but I outran it. So unless they gave any IROC 130+hp more than the one I raced, it wouldn't be a race. If I had an LS1 I wouldn't even think twice about racing a stock IROC. Come on. Common sense.
