soo here's the story: a guy at school has a '92 sentra with the sr20 swap, and for those of you who dont know what it is, its a 2.0 turbo jap motor 16 valve dohc. he has upgraded cams and is pushing 12 psi boost. so one day he takes me for a ride, it's been raining so the streets are damp so he cant even really get on it, it just spins the tires, but i could tell the car has *****.

so we go race today, both of us with riders. we go from a 30 roll, and with him driving the car i put about 5 cars on him before 110ish mph, pull into the whataburger lot and he wants to go again, i agree, but this time one of our friends driving the car (much better driver). same spot, 30-110ish again, he puts 2 cars on me.

when we go back, i'm being cool about it giving the guy props while some of the other guys at school are bashing me saying "ooh the american muscle car got whooped up on". the guy that owns the sentra is cool, could hardly believe i ran that close to him and my car is a pubic hair over stock. so i just kept my head high and didnt let the other guys bug me.

i just dont know why other people have to be so demoralizing, asking me if i need a shoulder to cry on and ****. i never talked **** about him and vice versa, it's just 2 guys with fast cars having a little fun.

but to resolve this, i'm going to try to get him to run me from a dig so maybe i can get the other **** tards to shut up

dude nice kill/death....a kid that i went to Auto tech school with for a few years lives down my road. He bougt a 92 Sentra SE-R and swapped out the motor and dropped in the same motor that kid had in it...but put a Garret T28 ball bearing turbo on it...it was fast as hell...my buddy wanted to run him with his modded lightening (went 12.5 on 23" Chrome rims)...my buddy just laughed and said is he serious....well they went out on the road later that evening and ran from a few rolls and from a dead stop...from a dead stop the lightening would pull ahead but around 100 the Sentra was right next to him and by 120 he has a few cars on him...from a roll the sentra plain murdered the lightening...it you have been a much better race from a dig if you can get him to do that...bring a video camera too.

Losing to a sentra is like losing to a civic...which has happened to me for free as we just went for fun...lesson learned? a POS can beat up your car, so be humble like u are now for the rest of your automotive indulgence
