For real, take it to the track. Its not worth you life or others expecially on prom night. Just go have fun, then when the tracks open, shut him down. People will ALWAYS talk trash about your car, doesnt mean you have to line them up every friggin time. They have their opinion's and you have yours, prom night is a fun not and not a night to morn a lost a fellow student. Think smart, going fast is fun however there are consiquences.

Heres a combo of everything else above, yes you should be safe, use your head. But in my opinion a little quick 0-80 or so run wouldnt hurt. And last but not least, theres a guy that lives over near me by ucf with an ls2 gto that races me whenever we meet up, and we're like dead even. So when it comes down to its up to you but be safe and have fun, and try to remember prom night lol.

Well, with what Hawk said, if his date is in the car with him, ask yours to wait for you. Make up some excuse about wanting her to be safe just in case, but in reality, you're just saving that extra 100-170lbs (hey, I don't know her, she could be a bigger gal lol).

Be careful, I dont know about Greensburg, but up in Warsaw its supposed to be in the low 30s with a chance of rain/snow... if thats the case down there too, call it off, wait for a better day.
And if you call it off, ignore his smartass remarks about not knowing how to drive or being scared.

Be carefull, there is a guy in town that has a LS2 gto and his car will flat out haul ***. All he has is catback, air intake and 75 shot. He is running high to mid 10s. So good luck.

Plus, he's 750miles from Oklahoma, I don't think he has to worry. Even if he's running 40s ever mile, it'd still take the dude 8.3hrs to get there That's assuming my math is right.
And if it is bad weather, and he does give you ****, then say "OK" and when he goes, just watch him wrap the car around a lightpole. While he's in the hospital, send him a get well card reading something like "When you get out, let me know when you want me to race you're new steel ingot."
