Default weird??

2 weeks ago I ran a older fox body. He had alot of stuff done (intake, cam, heads, bigger tb). Well we run, we go from his power ban cuz I do not want excuses ya know haha. Well we race I kill him by 3 cars no problem.

Well just last weekend he comes back down looking for more, only this time he has 3.73 and 2 track slips. One the slips said 13.00, second one he said was the best of the night 12.9. I was think oh crap im done. Meanwhile this kid is talking some serious trash about my car now.

I say ok lets get it over with. We go from a 30, 40, and a damn 70 roll out come all the same, me winning by 2 cars hahha. Then he says aight well lets go from a dig, we do I dusted him 2 and half cars. Im going down to the track tomorrow to see what I would run. All I have is a 99' A4 (lid, slp exhaust). And I do not think my car is able to run that low with the mods I have haha.

But it was fun shutting him up, sorry for the long post...

What's the point of getting someone else's slips? He got beat anyways!!!

If anything at the track you should be running the same times or a bit better, but your trap speed has to be a few MPH higher than his plus he'd never be able to run the same times on the street

His times are better than your's would run because of the launch/beginning of the run... at higher speeds you're gonna get him.

I know I've beat guys who run up to 5 tenths quicker than me at the track. I'm just a lot faster on the street because I either spin or bog at the track. This might be the same situation. Don't be surprised if you run a 13.3 or something but you'll own that 12 second Stang on the street!

Yes you are right if he is running slicks it could get interesting he has no power but hellified torque. He will only stand a chance against you on the slicks at the track. He better hope that your making sandwhiches at the tree.

ET doesn't mean **** when it comes to running someone on the street. If you really want to know what your car will do against his compare the MPH of the run, not the ET. Dur... And if I had to guess I would say your car will run 13.7-14.0 on street tires.
