I would assume that a 40xcid solid roller makes about 540rwhp. Throw
a dual stage kit on it and it could be nasty.

Let's see some pics of that beast.

#1..it doesnt run tens, thats what i said

#2..i love digs, throw some track bite down, ill mount the dr's and we'll do it to it

#3..2 plates, 150 per kit, it's mildly nasty

#4..im in total agreement with you on the fact that there is somebody always faster, i got into with a guy back home with a 10.5" outlaw car at a meet, total sleeper, and i lost a **** ton of money and pride. ive got a few pics of some good stuff, however id rather email them instead of posting for all of orlando to see and start throwing bottles in, pm me email?

Hey unit I would love to see some vids of your Cobra be it dyno drag vids of your car I know i'm off topic but if you have some post them.

That is an interesting fact also,back in the 80's and early 90's Mustang did seem to have the edge in performance.

Yeah, it's generally in the 220-235rwhp range, depending on year/tranny. 260rwhp ain't happenin for a stock 99-04 (though it would be nice)

Wrong,

1987 and 1992 for two examples when the stangs were faster stock in the 1/4

And thats pre term era

He said year for year the maros were faster, I simply stated two years where that is not true.

This is one of the best things to remember, I hate 350Z's but I can't say someone is a piece of **** because they picked one over an F-body. Everyone has there own reasons for buying the car, my friend with a crazy Terminator thinks the convertibles are for posers, thats his opinion and why he drives a coupe.

What someone else said.........A lot of people on here do not know squat about Mustangs. Don't be foolish man! Always know your competition becuase you never know what you are going to run into on the streets. I "troll" many "Street Racing" forums from imports to Domestic. Not only do I learn the capabilities of a certain car, but I also like to correct the BS on a lot of forums written by people who don't know anything about another car.

Im not an expert about mustangs but I have learned a few things through experiance. (All my friends drive some sort of mustang) Stock for Stock:
LS1>GT mustang
LS1=Mach 1
LS1<Cobra
Hell thats even mod for mod. I dont like the 2v's, it takes a LOT to make them keep up for some strange reason. But I fully respect the 4v's in either form. I have been straight walked by mach 1's and cobra's in my GTO and in my 99 Z28 (low-mid 12's), but I can honestly say I cant ever recall losing to a GT.
Bone stock I put about 5 on my buddy in his 03 GT w/ full exhaust (LT's O/R Mids), an intake, and a diablo sport.

A 99, 01, and 02 Cobra are high 13 second cars. Whereas an LS1 is a mid to low 13 second car and some can even dip into 12's. I like Cobras but an LS1 is faster.

I'm sorry..I believe I said you shouldn't talk about mustangs if you dont' know crap about them......new edge N/A cobra's are mid to low 13s.

BTW - There is NO SUCH THING AS A 2002 Cobra........

But still they were pretty even up with a mach1, which can be even with an ls1, therefore........
