just went from a 50 to 55 mph roll.... pulled on the cobra by a door or so.... female was driving but she let off after i pulled in front of her. Sure wish I could have gotten a good low mph pull to prove cobras arent invincible .

I'm just gonna come out and say it first; if you are trapping less than 108mph, you definitely beat the driver. But good run nonetheless, cuz it'd be fun anyway

Cobras aren't invincible; Mongeese kill them all the time. Perhaps that is what I will name my vehicle when I design it....THE "MONGEESE"!!! (of course, it will remain plural...).

Very nice kill. Cobras definitely are not invincible. They're just another
car on the road in the grand scheme of things.

With that said, I would expect a cam'd LS1 to pull a hell of a lot harder
on a girl in a stock Cobra.

throw on some lts and a catback, and listen to that thing breath. My friends got the exact same cam in his SS all the supporting mods and stage III LS6 heads. He made 442 at the wheels.

yea... I was running out of money at the time and found the shorties for cheap. Thought it would be better than running stockers... should have just saved my money. Oh well... live and learn. Ive got a typhoon intake and L/T's in the works right now

That Cobra would have schooled you if it would have been driven correctly. In order for you to have any chance against one, you really need the Long Tube headers and a damn fine tune! I got eaten by at least 3 or 4 Cobras when my car was basically stock. Having my *** handed to me that many times made me invest in some Pacesetter LT's, Ported & Polished Throttle Body, 216/220 565 Cam, FAST Intake, 3:73 gear with Auburn Locker, a McCoy Motorsports Tune and the kicker...lol....a little NX 175 shot of spray.

Now I don't have too many problems with the Cobra's......unless of course you run into UNit213......lol......and I live far enough away from him, so I don't get smoked by the Unit...lo.

agreed.
a X3 with shorties & 2.73 gears sure is a mismatched combo. He needs a set of QTPs or Kooks along with a set of atleast 3:73's in the rear with his auto trans. that would wake the car up.
