Default Played with a New Supercharged Roush stang and a few kills

I see a brand new roush 427 mustang going the other way so I pull a U turn and get up next to him we both hit it from aout a 20mph roll and Im slowly edging him and I had to break for traffic around 60ish.He pulls up and says its only got around 100miles on it and is rated at 465hp.So he must not be able to drive it good yet or they are heavy like the Shelby 500gts.Anybody know anything about them?He didnt wanna race again so as Im pulling away a SRT10 4door Ram comes by and I follow when we get outa traffic we line up around 55mph or so and I pull him a car length to about 100ish He hit it b4 me but it didnt matter. Then heading back home I see a fellow WS6 going the other way and he hits the breaks like he wants me to u turn so I did and we went from 40ish he hit it first but I still pulled him a car to 100ish.He said he was stock and If it really was it was pretty quick to be stock.Im full bolt-ons 3:73s and Yank3600ss.(and a125shot which I havent been able to use yet cuz Im waiting on a new window switch).

The guy in the Roush is bs'ing about the horsepower rating. The reason it's called a "427" is because that's the horsepower, obviously it's not the cubic inches LOL! Good kills!

Your telling me I can go weeks without a race and then they just happen all at once.Probably wont get another 1 for a month. Also the look on the SRT10 drivers face was priceless,You could easily tell he wasnt expecting me to pull him like that, guess he hasnt raced too many LS1s.Actually raced a LS1 Vet the day b4 these races also.

I dont know why the stang has 427 badges I would think if it was a real 427 supercharged it would be pretty nasty. But I also saw another 427 New stang a few days b4 this one.(I guess it was a roush too??)Does anybody else know anything about them how much they weigh, Horsepower, what they should run in the 1/4mile and how rare they are???

THe badges denote the 427R package. It is appearance/handling mostly over the regular stg3. They both have ~425HP. go to www.roush.com and check out the different packages.

Good Kills!

As far as the Roush, they're pretty new so I don't know anything about them. I've seen two in person recently and they are for sure two of the Baddest looking 05+ Stangs that I've seen.

What I do know about them is they do have 427HP, and Roush Suspension. I don't see how a car with that much power isn't breaking 12's off the show room floor though. And I HIGHLY doubt that it's heavy as my car, or a GT500.

I do agree with that they are bad *** looking and look better than the GT500.Also agree with the fact it should break in 12s easily.Id say 1 would at least weigh what a 03-04 snake probably alittle under the gt500.Had the body kit stuff and I think it had crome rims if Im not mistaken.I wonder what the price tag is on 1?

LOL, now that's funny right there! Try this; http://www.roushperf.com/

PonyGT not only doesn't know the correct url for the Roush web site, he also doesn't know that the 427R is actually a lesser model to the Stage 3 (content-wise, not power-wise), and a Stage 3 Roush Mustang has 415hp, while the 427R has 427hp. Of course, if he was getting his information from the Pillsbury Doughboy, that explains alot right there LOL!

The Roush cars are nice and prety fast (the 427 and stage 3) but not as fast as the Saleen SC or E. If you run across a Saleen mustang with a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, be ready for a possible whippin.

Nice Kill.
