You'll be fine. A stock turbod WRX, even with full bolt-ons will not be a problem. Headers will give him a better powerband (and make it sound like crap, takes away the boxer rumble that is associated with a WRX from what I understand) and the up pipe is an odd mod to do before a turbo-back and a reflash.

If its just a wrx dont even think twice about it.. From a roll my MAXIMA (my daily driver) has pulled several modded WRXs. If he's playing with bigger turbos and has a lot of money into the car than thats a different story but trust me stock WRXs are SLOW

The car has 227HP at the flywheel. Most dyno between 175-185WHP, which figures right for 227HP when you factor in drivetrain loss.
