This reall y did happen how I said. However I worded it to furuffle some feathers. No harm done. My first t butt whooping in my cobar was by a red LT1 Fireturd. (Damn 3.27 ears) You guys are too easy t o stirr up. No disrespect though, LT1s certainly can be mean.

And yes I have been drinking mofuggers so

LMFAO at this thread. I always wondered why people would create a thread on forums just to **** people off. Your H/C/I 5.0 beat a stock LT1...... I have a 94 GT with some bolt ons, and that thing is pig slow. A stock LT1 would outrun me, and one with bolt ons would straight up embarass me. I would gladly trade it for a 93-97 LT1 TA/Formy.

THe use of the title "I thought LT1s were fast.." ah an excellent ploy to bring people in to see your dominance of the LT1 and the bowtie

I also like the addition of the witty at the end of your thread, you ran some guy in a stock LT1 that had the common courtesy to wave instead of give you the finger. Interesting race/thread

To keep it fair though Good Kill.

nice kill...what you guys dont understand is that a h/c/i 5liter will usualy lay down 240-280 rwhp give or take alittle.i myself have never been impressed with the lt1 hell appearently gm wasnt iether they kept it in production for a whopping 5 years.
yeah ill agree it was an unmatched race if the z was stock...however atleast he is not saying he took a stock lt1 and put lenghts on a stock ls1[coughFLASH33LCDcoughcough]
what heads cam and intake are on your car?i have a 5liter as well

Nice kill I guess. You just need to run a LT1 that's not stock. I bet a bolt on LT1 could give you a good run

"i myself have never been impressed with the lt1 hell appearently gm wasnt iether they kept it in production for a whopping 5 years."

good call. You're ls1 was produced in f-bodies for a "whopping 5 years" also.

The Lt1 is no ls1 but everyone wants to hate it.

never been impressed with the LT1 when it takes heads and cam to put down 240-280 rwhp with a 5.0 when my car was stock down to the paper air filter it put down just a shade over 270 hp at the wheels, dyno is in my sig now with full exhaust, intake, a few free mods and a tune im at 307 hp at the wheels just have to get that dyno sheet scanned for all the naysayers

Over the past 3 years i've laid a hurtin' on so many 5.slow stangs in both of my cars it's not even funny.

You were obviously just taking a stab at LT1 owners...they are quick, but the car was probably a stock A4 with 200,000 miles.

my buddy's got a LT1 T/A that hits LOW 10's and will dip into the 9's when geared right
so the name of the game is he who pays the most goes the fastest period. If anyone doesnt belive that then find the video of a minivan whiping a z28 on the track I posted a while back in the General Forum
if you have enough money you can do anything including going fast

but you should have known you were asking for it when you named your thread "I thought LT1's were fast" that 'd be like me spanking a 5.0 and making a thread called "I thought 5.0's were fast" thats a very general assumption.

allthough I guess as rare as it is for you to beat a Fbody you've gotta post it right?I mean if we posted every time we beat a 5.0 they'd have to make a section called "I killed a 5.0"
