Default 07 Mustang ROUSH 427R supercharged vs 93 z28

I was at the car wash with a couple of friends this past weekend looking for a race, i had raced an 06 dodge magnum rt earlier and it wasnt even a race, i layed probably six or seven carlengths from 0-70. (he wasnt awd) A new roush 427r mustang pulls in, i stopped the guy and talked to him about it. It was gorgeous, and i dont like mustangs. It was yellow with balck stripes, and has a factory body kit, lowering springs, oh yeah and a supercharger, 6 speed. I asked him if he wanted to race my Lt1 camaro, he laughed and said yeah man, thats cool. With my friends following (and all of us expecting him to rip me a new one, we stopped on a 4 lane road with over a 1/4 mile straight away.

First race
we both ate the tireson take off, but i pulled ahead, as we increased speed i was looking back, it looked like hed start to catch me, than id pull back away, at the end it was me by 1 1/2 cars. (it was about 1/4 mile i got up to about 100, 105

second race
after the race he looked pretty p.o.ed that his $47000 car was just beat by a 14 year old lt1. He said follow me so he lead me out to the country to a small 2 lane country road, with a half mile straight away. My cousin dropped his arms, and i ate the tires, he didnt (he turned on tcs) as soon as i hooked i pulled back up to him and narrowly got my bumper passed his then he started to pull again, i let off at 115 and he had about 2 car lengths on me. It was awesome

Afterwards we met up at the minit mart and he looked at me and said "you're sprayin arnt ya?" I said no. You got somethin done, i popped the hood to reveal no more than a k&n intake. He said he had a 94, with longtubes, programmer, intake, pulleys, flows, and it only ran a 13.9.

i was proud just to keep up with him, and really proud to beat him once.

I finally saw two of those Roush 427R's in person last month at a car show. They really are nice cars.

Good runs!

The guy seemed coo. A race is always that much better when the driver is coo.

I guess I will be the bad stang owner..............not much seat time on his part. Sorry, but 300 pound diff and 80 RWHP diff, should not equal what happened.

But, **** happens, esp. on the street...so good kill/loss.

i agree may as well get a GT500 with that price tag

'03-'04 terminators were the best mustangs ford ever made. everything else that has come from both the factory and done up by big shops like roush has been a disappointment.

choco your such an idiot. Do you have anything to say that is worth reading? I mean get GM's Rolled up Sticker out of your ***. Ford hasn't come out with anything besides the term...factory or otherwise?...that statement right there shows just how ignorant you are of mustangs.

just a few for you to chew on:

Mach 1 (YES, I said it)
99/01 cobra
00 Cobra R
95 Cobra R
93 Cobra/Cobra R
ALL S351s
95-98 S351 S/C

And Darcar....I can NOT believe you actually went there...motorweek, are you F'ing serious?......Guess that means the C6Z is actually a low 12 second car, right?.....DRRR.

I can not believe what I am reading.....some of us stang guys are actually here to learn and to teach...but posts like these........it's no wonder why there is so much stupidity online about cars.

this very statement itself is pretty funny. he calls me an idiot, yet he hasn't figured out 2nd grade grammar. let's see how long it takes him to discover his spelling error.

the mustang is an inferior machine. get over it. none of them impress me outside of the '03-'04 terminators. i guess you can prove my opinions wrong, huh?

again, keep me on your ignore list. i don't really want to talk to you, and trust me, most people feel my pain

I really wish Chaco the Taco was a little bit more open-minded...like most of the guys here. His posts always end up in name calling bullshit...

Can I add 06-07 S281E to the list?
