Alright, not my first loss but my first loss to a Ford
Not sure what color it was it looked to be primer I think it was a 95 with a blower.Saw the dude a while back in a diff mustang we exchanged rev's at the light when we took the corner (he was behind me at the light) I hit it so we could get next to each other and before I know it the truck beside me is racing with me(srt10).I pulled on the truck and when the mustang got next to me we werent even enough for a real race and my turn was coming up.So last night I was at shell and I see a grey or whiteish mustang following me into the parking lot.He pulls up beside me and I realize its him.We BS'ed for a min then we ran out to a back road to line them up.He just said to hit it and when I hit it he hit it.We both spun something nasty, but when we hooked he put about 2 and a half lengths on me we road it out to about 85ish.
I've been waiting for something like this to happen now its time to break out the old wallet and order some more mods. Thanks Phil

You take losses like I do, motivation to mod. It makes the re-match victory so much sweeter. A bottle and tire will knock out the 2.5 lengths, plus a couple for good measure.

Nothing wrong with losing to a blown Mustang. I had a '94 GT turbo, 355 stroker, heads, DFI, $, $$ and more $$$ that put my blown '96 Corvette to shame.

Hey you cant beat everyone.HAHA At least not yet.j/k
I had a vette put the same distance between us that the Cobra did but it hurt a little more coming from a Ford.
I think one of my biggest prob is traction.I cant hook worth ****.Time for rear lca's , sfc's ,and a ta.Then finish my exhaust and a tune and i'll be ready for that rematch.

Good run, we'll definately have to do it again
I really did not like running on that street, it has too many side streets and I had no idea when the curve was coming up. I rather run right on the road that we turned off of.

Its a 95 with a Frankenstien 4.6. I just got the car running a couple days ago. So it is not quite sig material yet, lol

I really just need to paint the bumber covers, but I may end up doing the whole car.
Aside from cosmetics, I have quite a few bugs to work out. My main concern is putting the correct 8.8 in the car. The one that is in it now is out of an 02 GT. The 99-04 rears are about 2" wider than the 94-98. So my tires stick out of the wheel well about a 1/4" (it still had the 7.5 in the pics). Im not really sure when I let off, but I know that the quarters were tearing into my tires I will not be racing the car again untill I swap rears, put some different shocks in the back (probably strange adjustables), and a good set of upper and LCA's (the bushings in mine are beat)
To give you a little motavation, I am fairly confident that I will put a few more cars on you next time

I figured i'd lose but I like to race and like I said earlier its just inspiration

Just a couple
The Camaro is my girls. I will be updating the sig soon. I just had it painted Dark Shadow Grey. Once we finish the job I will post pics. If she has her way, we'll be adding another car to the stable. She wants an LS1 T/A in the worst kind of way. I have been thinking about trading my coupe for a nice modded WS6.

The 88 lx, 03 Cobra, and 95 Cobra R ( ok Fobra R ) are mine.

Some time in the distant future the Cobra will be ready to terorize the streets and track again. I am thinking about going with an F1A, on a 9.5-10:1 Teksid aluminum blocked 4.6, witha big stalled auto. I hope to get it well into the 9s.

Here are a couple threads about my possible buildup.
Need2speeD
Modular fords

I built the lx a couple years ago. The 331 S trim combo has been very reliable. I have had some issues with some transmissions though!

Sounds like a nice setup........I would love to toss on an F1A on my mach. Need a better short block first.

mpe331lx you can use a fox 8.8 axle and the axles andbrakes off the 7.5 and that should tuck up the tires...the 94-98 and the fox use the same axle housing...around here fox parts are easier to find for some reason....how hard was the swap ive thought of doin a p.i. engine swap into my 95
