Default Black 03/04 Cobra Vert

Well today I was playing around with a black vert 03/04 cobra with blacked out windows and kentucky tags. Finally got to a redlight with it and went just for fun. I know my car is no match. We roll out to about 10mph and both hit. First gear the snake was ahead by about 1/2 car and the blower whining. As soon as they shifted, the tires chirped lightly and I nosed out in front to my ultimate suprise. Then at their next shift I was about a car ahead and they shut down. They probably should've kept going but we were already at like 75-80mph i think. They came back by and I gave them the thumbs up but I couldn't see in thanks to their blacked out window tint. So i guess the auto got me another win one more time. And yeah I know I either a)beat the driver or b) the previous owner put a cam in my car lol. I know this is not the norm. It definately brightened up my day though.

oh just a thought . i guess they could have had traction control on if they have it. i know it makes our mach 1 slower.

Traction control on a Cobra is very noticeable as the car will nose dive like it slammed on the brakes. I know mine did.

+1 on traction control being very noticable. When it's on, the more your tires try to break loose, the "harder" the traction control will kick in.

But traction control smacktion control, driver this and driver that, you were ahead. Period.

Good kill.

TC is the same on both cars.

And it only kicks in if you can't shift, or too much power for crappy street tires.

Nice kill. He could have been stock, or close too it......it was a vert 3700+ pounds.

Yep...every car bunch has their cocky members. They just have a hard time understanding that cars don't race themselves.....and not every driver is the same. (I know I forget sometimes... )

Nice kill. Stock ls1 cars take down 03/04 verts on a regular basis. Take some pride in your car and stop thinking so highly of the terminators, after all this is LS1TECH not cobratech. With a cam and spray, there will be many more victories in the future.

Oh geez. Yea, the trap speeds on Terminators are the same as stock LS1's.

Bragging about trap speed is like bragging about that hot blonde you almost scored, kind of like that nice e.t. you almost had.
