Ok you are probably running all pretty much bolt on V8's....what's your point. If one of those V8 cars had the same turbo you would get pwn'd. Also look at the STi's Some of them 'crap' as you like to say on V8's sometimes too. I just don't get what the big deal is or nothing. Congratz on the expensive turbo?

In that vid it was putting down 730RWHP and around 680RWTQ. It had the same engine as a supra with a big *** turbo on it. Yea he did spend more than the domestic guys and his engine ended up going kabooooooooooooooom.


Bottom line is those were heavily modified LS1s that he was racing, no stock or bolt-on LS1 is going to even hand with a 700 + hp car like that from a roll.

Where they even racing? looks like to me that the car the cam was in would just roll by them and call it a race....And the Mustang GT almost stayed with it so a LS1 should have done better. WEAK VID.

Well because I guess some cars need much more hp to pull same times as other cars...
Don't go by numbers only. It's either You know for a fact these ls1 were "heavily" modified or You just think they were because like You said, no bolt on camaro can keep up even closely to a 700 hp whatever ...

It wouldnt lol, not from a roll anyways. You cant just say well its a LS1 GM it needs less HP then rice!!!!! Why, because theres a thing called science. A heavier 700hp car with less torque is not going to beat a lighter car with more torque and hp. Who cares about roll races. Roll races are for the guys not good enough to run at a real track. Besides, it's not about how much power you make, it's where you make all that power. A car with a tiny powerband like your badass is300 is gonna get raped by a well set up lsx in the 1/4. It's all about who crosses the finish line first...not the fastest.
