It's very easy for me to understand after reading many of your attitudes why there is a small block in your F's.
Who really things they could have driven a 440 tri power, 426 Hemi, 429 Ford, 428 CJ, 455 Olds, or 454 and had it perform any differently from anyone elses?
Every vehicle has a purpose and a base performance level. When anyone advances the performance of thier vehicle it should be looked at as an achievement.
There isn't an LS-1,2,3,4, or what ever on this page that can drag my 7,000 haller up a hill like my chipped 03 smoker does. The old F's have a slopping hood. It wasn't put there so anyone could look down their noses at anyone else.

I have seen as low as a 14.3 out of a stock one. I think a well driven pullied car could put a hurting to a stock LS1 fbody with a new driver. I actually have a race setup with a modded wrx wagon once I get my car done.

I can smack up my friends bone stock 98 t/a. With the right mods these cars can become very respectable. That said, if he had full bolton's and a tune he'd have the edge again.
