Default Just Killed a new SI

I was driving home just now from the movies, when a brand new SI passed me doing about 65 in a 55. Normally I wouldn't care about a civic....but his license plate made me chase....SILLYV8. Of course any self respecting f-body owner wont take this, so I pulled along side and dropped a couple gears. We both were cruising dead even for about a mile, waiting for on-coming traffic to calm down. I was in 3rd, and he gunned it, and as I tried to pull him in 3rd, he was actually somewhat pulling me . So I dropped into second at about 60, spun the tires a little, then shifted into 3rd at 6k. I look over as I'm nearing the top of 3rd, while passing him, and I see his bright *** dash spedo reading about 83 mph. I look at mine, and was around 95. I shifted into 4th, and then I really pulled him, and shut off at about 120, with him like 4-5 cars back. The little bastard can pull kinda hard down low...but no where near the ls1 up top. Had to put the cocky bastard in his place lol.

Was it a RSX-S or just an RSX. Isn't the new SI faster then the RSX?

The new Si and RSX-S are basically the same car... it's like asking if a WS6 is faster than a Formula. They're nice cars, just not my style right now.

Good lord that si must have been highly modified to hang with you, they run 15s stock and are slow as **** on the highway. Good kill, you should have rubbed it in somehow though.

Whats the deal with that!?I live in AZ myself and maybe like 2 weeks ago I was out cruising the streets.I look over and see a newer Jetta 2.0T license plate says GETOWND as he passing me coming to an intersection.Lights going yellow so I start slowin down(woo hoo, a dig race!)He looks over and floors it thru the yellow,so im not havin it and floor it too.
He looks over and smirks going 40-45ish then punches it. From that MPH til 120 when I let off, it was all me.No mercy on the Volks.
We slow down and I say"The only reason why I raced you was cause your plate says "GETOWND".He laughs and shrugs his shoulders like "c'mon you know how it is"Sorry for the hijack.............

Theres alot of cars I've seen around here in AZ that have license plates like that. A black c5z that says CATCHUP, and some mustangs with TOSLOW or other stuff. I can wait to get back up to Phoenix to find some good runs.

LMFAO! New SIs will run low 14s all day long, and some even make it into the 13s. The K20 is a good engine. I wouldn't be talking trash if I was driving a 3rd gen...

WTF? Low 14's all day long?? Are you retarded? I've see SOME new Si's run HIGH 14's on a good run, but never low 14's, not without A LOT of mods.

No. Just no. On a good day, mid fourteens is possible. Anyone should be able to atleast get into the fourteens on a so-so day. NOBODY will ever run thirteens, because it's not possible. With a CAI and a Hondata tune, then thirteens become possible. But not stock.

hahahahaha yeah they will.......... in the 1/8th!!!!!!!! come on now i recall a time i was cruising on a freeway when two cars started "racing" a brand new black si with a trash can muffler and shopping cart wing with a white prelude with duct tape holding his rear bumper and some doll hanging from it. anyways i heard these two lawnmovers going at it and decided to intercept them at oh 80mph and it did no take much for me to fly by them at 100mph and they were still trying to catch up!!!!

Nice kill as expected.

Remember, SI stands for SICK.

RSX is **** IMO. Drive one and witness for yourself.

Civic is nice for someone who doesn't plan to race V8's while stock and likes fuel economy. Not sure what this guy was thinking.

I've seen a white c5 vette out here with SICVETT on the plate, never found out who/what that was.

Yea, I thought they were mid 14's also. But the only reason he kinda kept up is because I started in 3rd at about 55-60. Gave him a little advantage..then decided to just drop it and go. I'll admit...I like the new SI's...just not nearly as much as my T/A
