Most are just dealer or owner-installed decals and/or body kits. Saleen, Roush, Cervini's...the list is long with varying levels of modifications.

Yep. The GTHs have a different tune and IIRC a very mild cat-back and an intake. About 320HP. All Autos. Not a bad DD car really. They should start coming up for sale soon.

I cant wait till someone comes looking for the Stormtrooper with their 700 or whatever rwhp GT500, so they can see what real power is all about!!

...yeah, i'd like to race some cars that I actually know what they are making powerwise. Almost every race I run into is random....

oh I dunno. I've seen my cousin josh break countless rearends, and after a while, it got old pushing his car off the starting line. Soo, i'm not super big on 1/4 et's. I'd like to run low somethings, high somethings...as is but, not my major goal. I'd rather give a little on the low speed stuff,...make it up @ 120, 130, 150plus speeds.

That 500 had a blower and spray right....I still have my TnT kit on the car as well... don'tknow when i'll actually use it though.

down by da beach.

South florida G.

..and yes, dammit man, it was a GT500 cobra, which was red with two white stripes,...looked stock, except for window tint and hood pins.

I know nothing else on the car.

BUT.

It is south florida, theres quite a few car shows here...in fact, a big one tonight. If I see the car,..i'll approach them and see whats crackin.

My cousin josh is meeting me in the blue Z07 tonight....which should be fun. he's got a brand new clutch in the car soo,..it'll need to be broken in but,..i'll try and get some rolling footage of both cars.

Good, stomp those Shelby punks beyond belief. Are you shitting me? 80k for a mustang? I'll take my Z06 and wax that blower car's *** all day long. I'm not a brand loyal type guy as you can see. In fact the Shelby is the BIGGEST waste of a 500 hp drive train that I've possibly ever seen (other than say a maybach or bentley, in which case its a bentley so it gets an omission)

It may not have been stock if you were putting a "steady" pull on @ 580 rwhp then it definatly wasn't stock. I put a hefty "walk" on stock GT500s.

420 to 430 rwhp vs 470 and 350 to 400 lbs lighter.

What a POS car.

My rant is done.

Shelbys have alot more going on under the hood, then youre givin them credit for dude.Ill leave it at that, since youre entitled to your opinion.

Funny thing happened on my day off this week.I was cruisin with my girl and I drove by the Ford dealership on Baseline and Rural.(Gotta love useless info)Well,I look over and a GT500 is pulling out.Red w/ White stripes and chrome factory wheels.
Its a 45 mph road and dudes got both front windows down and hes going 15 mph!I really mean that. All the way down until we turned,he just crawled down the street.Talk about protecting your investment!I just thought that was funny, the way he crawled onto the road and rolled like a mile.
Who knows what he was doing or if it was even his car.
I wouldve peeled those tires like a madman!

I didn't discredit what they have under the hood. I discredit the 4000 lb tank they have to drag behind the motor.

Do you discredit the 130mph traps with a few bolt ons, tires, & more
boost?

Do you think that its worth the extra what 40k over a 03/04 with a twinscrew to do the very same?

Are you a therapist? You have to answer a question with a question.

Adjusted dealer markup is ridiculous. Anyone who pays it is a moron IMO.
You can't blame Ford for that. MSRP is extremely reasonable for that car.
$43K is nothing these days.

So, do you discredit 130mph traps with simple mods out of a $43K car?
