e55 AMG vs. Me...OWNED!! This happened awhile back, but I never wrote down a kill story about it, because...well you'll see. NOTE: NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE AMG'S AT THIS POINT
It started one day when Cadillac CTS-V(or whatever they are) and an AMG E55 were messing around with me, just doing little queer *** burn-outs over and over all the way down the street. Too much traffic to do anything.
So about a week later I come across this AMG E55 at a stop-light and he gives me the rev, with 3 people in the car. My cocky *** is thinking "Yeah..is this guy serious?"
Stop light turns green, we take off in first, I hit it at about 20 mph and so does he. He spins so I take the lead, hit 2nd gear nicely, stay ahead, notice he's creeping up on me, hit 3rd gear and I GET ABSOLUTELY ******* WALKED like the complete DOG my car felt like. I'm guessing that's when he caught traction
Wow, so in amazement, I pull up to him at a stop light and he gives me a nod. I pull out my ricer excuse and say something about traction, so he gives me a dirty look LOL, a very deserving one at that.
I had no prior knowledge of what these cars even were, let alone how fast they were. This guy was the sole reason I changed my plans for my LS1 as "fun daily driver with some weekend cruising" to..."damn I need some more mods!!"
Perfect example of an ignorant and arrogant young punk getting owned(me)

haha,i had a very similar experience around a week ago. saw an amg cl55 sitting at a stoplight and figured it would be fun to take out a benz, so i let him know i was interested, we eased off, got to a straightaway, i had my car in 1 waiting on him, and by the time i could put my foot down he had 2 cars on me already, i managed to at least keep it respectable though, he added maybe another 1/2 car from 30 to around 100. very sweet car. the cl55 i raced had the 5.4 s/c v8, 490 hp and 516 tq. doesn't look like it would be that powerful from the outside though. definitely fooled me.

Yeah they were pretty young, so am i, but I'd guess they were about 22-23, never really got ne good runs in, which i'm glad because I would of gotten owned worse.

I recently raced a stage V renntech E55 AMG that made 490 rwhp and 530 rwtq in my Z06. Damn, did I kill that car. I think I beat that car worse than I did the Viper..
But, I guess that is to be expected given that he only has 30 more rwhp than mea but weighs in at 1000+ lbs more too.

I was coming home on night from naples fl and came across a cls 550. He was a older man and thought because he paid more them 30k then I did he was not going to have a problem. We rolled along at about 50-60 he was going along good. He knew what I wanted. We pulled up to the next light.... I looked over at the wife and she gave me the I will hold on look. Well the light turned green and I don't even remember seeing him leave. I heard his tires chirping but for what ever reason I after i got to 3rd and about 80?? (not even looking at the speedo) I had at least two cars on him. My 2nd and 3rd gears torque are unreal!. We got to the next light and he pulled up and gave me a shake of the head and a thumbs up. He was cool.
