Default WS6 vs Mach1 again!

well looks like I need to find more Mach1's like this one! it was white with black wheels and lowered with a good sounding exhaust set up? anyways it jumped on me going around 40mph we then both just hit(I let him hit first) and proceeded to claim yet another Mach1 kill! they didn't want a rematch maybe cause' 4 cars or so *** whoopin' lets them know they didn't have enough anyways! I wish I could have done Mach1nut this way! all BS aside I really like the way the Mach1's look and will have one someday in the next year or so!

Nice kill, anyone know what the diff. is between a regular 16 vavle gt 4.6 and a mach 1 is. I know the cobras had the 32 vavle and some with blowers but I was wondering about the mach1s.

For all intents and purposes, the Mach is a 99-01 Cobra with better midrange, 3.55s, and a solid axle.

Wrong! The Mach 1 has 03 style heads which flow better. 99-01's had the C (tumble port) heads. Mach 1's also have different cams. Also the exhaust port flows better and has a rectangular shape.

FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES. That means that I'm not gonna go into specifics (like what style 4v heads, or what shape the exhaust ports are). Same *basic* power level, with more midrange (cams and heads). Would you rather I said "For all intents and purposes it's a GT with a non-forged (except the crank) '03 Cobra motor?"

Nice kill.....I am shocked at 4 cars but..hey...a win is a win. LEWSER!.LOL

And....I think Irun11s just didnt' want to go into a long explenation of the differences. You are both correct..the short side is they are similar to the 99-01 cobra's....but there are severl differences as well.

Isnt the mach 1, 32valve motor made from aluminum compared to the cobras iron block?

LOL, I think this was another A4 Mach1 but not sure but thats what i'm guessing at by saying 4 cars back(round about) looking back in the side and rearview mirrors is not always safe you know! but if you guys remember correctly the night at the track when I raced mach1nut I had also raced a DSG A4 Mach1 with an X pipe, catback and CAI and drug his *** dirty(unlike Mach1nut) I now wonder what is the stock ET's and dyno #'s for A4 Mach1's??? and how well they respond to stall converter upgrades?

That's why I included the year range that I did... the 03-04 Cobras have iron blocks.

very much possibly an A4 mach. They dyno 255-270(at best). The best ET I have 'heard of' was a 13.54 bone stock. They are typically an upper 13 second car though...so I say mid to upper 13s.

cappn....I'd watch who you call slow. plenty of stangs would hand you your rear.

Brichdp06 - Opinions vary. I have spoken with countless people that think the mach is the best looking stang yet...including the terminators....even when I had my cobra. you know what they say...opinions are like A-holes, everyone has one.

are you sure they are that fast stock? the DSG Mach I had raced the night Mach1nut whooped me had an X pipe and a catback and ran a mid 9 sec. 1/8 best!!! and then this white Mach I raced off of a roll seem not to have the same snap of a 5 speed car when it dropped down and I know a stick car would have been "not that far behind" me!
