Default finally raced a newer model GT!

I was jumped by a black S-197 model GT tonight at around a 60 punch(the stock LS1 A4 sweetpot) and proceeded to walk the new GT not once but twice by 2-3 cars before I let out cause' of oncoming traffic! he did not want to go again when we had clear and open road but just gave me the "thumbs up" jester! nice looking car and it was clean sinister black color with an awesome rumble!

Nice kill! I just killed one a couple days ago, this one was gun metal gray. Those stocks exhausts do sound nice, I give them that. Down low those s-197s can keep up with a ls1, but up top is where we start to take them. I pretty much had the same results, around 2-3 cars each race by 100-105.

They will dont worry ive only tangled with 1 and from 0-80 I had about a car 1/2 on him and i wasnt pulling and either was he had a stick but unknown mods. He would not roll down his window to talk to me he was being a dick he had a **** eating grin on his face before the race and windows down then windows up when i slowed down to let him pass and took the first right he could. He was just one of those ******** you run into every now and then 90percent of stang owners I beat or they beat me I always talk to and they talk back typical car talk
Oh well

goodkill some out up a good fight on myne

Here I'll be that guy.....

" WTF there is no way freaking way you won!!! Ford for teh WIIINNNN!!!!! Mustangz are my life dawg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Freaking posting fake kill stories!!!!!LOZZEEERRR...."

There..the token "Blue Oval Guy"...

That said I liek picking on te S197 guys..they seem to have the biggest EGOs about their new ride...They also seemt o be a bit more reatrted about their ride

Bigger the EGO..the mroe fun it is to shatter....ESP when a shitty little 88 4 banger stang rips your doors off its hinges!!!!lol

Disclaimer: All remarks above were based soley on ym experience with S197 owners in the Hinesville/Savannah area..

On a side note the qoute in this post could be based heavily on words that regualry come out of Mustang owners in the RPM mustang club based out of Hinesville,GA....If you got a 2v mod motor with a blower..they think you are god..lol

Congrats on the kill, but please don't tell me by 'on coming traffic' you were in the oncoming traffic lane?

Need help with that BOWTIE on your suit?....

SEriously.....It doesn't surprise me. I would have wondered why if you lost or it was close...the S197s aren't all that great up top......IMO....when I test drove one it felt like I should ahve gotten out to push when I was on the highway passing a truck. I'm sure a tune would have helped, but stock it sucked.

Yea, up top is where the ls1 really pulls on the s197. Down low though, he hung with me dead even till about top of 2nd and going into 3rd.

With the stock tune there is a night and day differance than one with a good tune and at least exhaust. Even the a-5 can touch low 13's with 331 gears. I have had mine past 140 ,but with the 2.00 valves extra cubes it's not suprising for the Ls1 to pull up top.Just calling it like I see it.

LOL, well they were coming up but we were way back and I always give myself plenty of shutdown time for those "just in case" moments to only injure myself if an "accident" occurs! I know ,I know I shouldn't do it but I am probably the safest "mexico" racer you will ever see! it doesn't happen as much as you rhink from me anyways but I do know "I shouldn't do it" but it's that damn "adrenaline rush" thats gets us all!

real shitty! but this car witht the stock converter is it's most dangerous at around a 60 roll! it did dyno 327rwhp 343rwtq with just a lid and cutout! I am on the verge of installing my Yank stall, long tube headers and true duals with a Chris marsh tune!

good kill, ya the s197 arent to stout passes 70 or so stock, much better than a 2v, but untill you wake our cars up a ls1 will def pull us up top. the s197 just dont have enough power for the 3.55, thats why the first thing i did was put 3.90 def helpes. the blow dryer helps a little to lol

This "blueblood" says Good kill...S197 has alot of potential, but stock or nearly stock an LS1 kills it up top.

I dunno, but everytime I skin my knuckles, I bleed red, go figure? Good kill there, OD. It's gonna take a few mods and a good tune to get a S197 Mustang GT to give you a decent run. Out of the hole, in first and part of second gear, they're pretty stout, then they start to run out of breath.
