Thats cool too. I hook alot better at the track. i am sure if your not on the slicks your car turns into about a 11.5-11.7 car. I would rather run you all out so to speak. If you can't make it we will setup a saturday TNT to go to. I don't do wed night with all the ricer honda and camaro owners.....hehe

Good runs guys.
A properly driven c5 z06 vs a properly driven bolton ws6 should result in a 1-2 car win for the z06.
Sounds like the ws6 runs strong. I have a bolton SS and i think i would lose by about 2 cars to a c5 z06

I don't see why there's so much disbelief, unless I'm just not reading it right. Didn't the Z06 have something like 500 lbs of people in it vs 150 for the Fbody? That's 350 lbs, which pretty much makes up the weight difference between the curb weights of the 2 cars. Then add bolt-ons to up the horsepower of the WS6 and the horsepower between the two cars, while not completely matched up, are probably pretty close -- enough to make this a drivers race (i.e., who gets the jump gets the win).

I don't find this hard to believe. I can hold off a stock C5 Z and depending on the roll speed, shift and length of the run pull a car or so. LT's and a lid really help these LS1's breathe especially after 2nd gear! Start modding that Z06 and it's a different story! I am looking at tail lights!
Good Race!

but ya them two in the vette pretty much evened the weight difference as i was thinking! so i thought it should be close which it def was but if he was modded and no passengers he would have got me big time! lol i need to get the car tuned and all but thats not a big difference! i had fun seeing how close it was!

No way bro, a 500 rwhp Terminator wouldn't even be close even with a c6z. Would need at least another 50-75 or more rwhp. As heavy as they are, I gotta disagree.
I am pushing 490 rwhp 445 rwtq and as close as I could get with Fadi was 1 car behind. Granted we didn't get to go as fast as I would've liked but Fadi's C6 Z won. Several other c6z's I beat by 1 or 2 cars going to 150 vs 120-130 with Fadi. Now the two Terminators I came across one claimed 510 rwhp and the other claimed 480 rwhp. I put 3 1/2 cars 50-150 against the 510 rwhp T, and 5-6 cars on the 480 rwhp T. So its going to take a lot more then 500 rwhp just to get even with a stock c6 z considering my 490 only got me to his rear bumper. Gotta remind everyone, FADI is a hell of a driver, and has the fastest stock c6 z I ever ran into.

well, my buddy has a stock 02 zo that dynoed at 350 STOCK and ive raced him 5+ times and depending on the roll and if he gets traction who wins or how many cars he puts on me...my car is no turd and he can drive from a dig when he was on stock tires i got him to about 90 (traffic) but he now has some dr`s and we raced again from 20..and he pull bout 2.5 or 3 and it was gettin worse as we went..and we both had passangers that weighted about the same..

Heres the way i see it.....
2002 Z06...340 rwhp and 3150 pounds
Bolt on WS6...300 rwhp and 3500 pounds
Z06 runs 12.6 at 115 on average dead stock
WS^ runs 13.3 at 107 on average dead stock
Give the C5Z06 a 200 pound passnager and it will run 12.8 at 113 on average dead stock...
give the WS6 another 40 rwhp and it will run 12.9 at 111 on average
Then factor in that you weighed 50 pounds less than the average person in the Z06...cas your on the smaller side...
Possible 12.8 at 112 car you were driving..
This was a Drivers race through and through..
But if he had lost the 200 pound passanger his car would have been back to 12.6 at 115 on average and walked you by 2-3 cars....
I used my gtech on my older viper quite a few times (75 or so)..
I always ranged from 118-121 mph trapp speeds.. Imediatly after hitting some 120's I let my 275 pound friend ride a few 1/4 mile passes with me...
Suddenly the car was trapping 116-117.. Took him out and back to 118-120...
Weight is a HUGE factor
