killed Saleen S281 E Convertible Was riding around with a friend that hasn't been in town for a while, and wanted to go for a ride with the new H/C set up. We cruised through one of the more ritzy parts of town and this convertible mustang did a fly by on us. I nailed from 40 spun a little but couldn't reel him in let off at 70.
The light ahead was red so he pulled to a stop, as I came to a stop the light turns and he guns it again. So from a five MPH roll I stomp it, spin let off car goes to second hooks and starts the pull. At the point I get traction the guys rear bumper is at my front wheel. I stop his pull at 40 and round him at 55 and gain a car at 75 then shut down.
At the next light the guy was cool said it was S281E 550 horse stock.Its a 3V supercharged but its a heavy bitch from the looks of it. To much traffic now to get a good run from a dig.

I know what it is. Its a few tenths faster than a GT500, has the same Horsepower as one. Its a mid 12 second car, and traps in the 11X's.
Both the termis I was with run in the 11's. And maybe you should read up on Venom Vipers :-P
All in good fun, they are nice for sure and an definite improvement over the S-281 "not extreme" ha....the "E" is silent!

hmmm, I may stand corrected, I could have sworn the SE was 500.

Updated for 2006 to 550 BHP with a 575 tune available as an option for 2007 as long as you don't want the factory drivetrain warranty.
