He had a 2002 Firehawk T/A W/ a Lid and Headers, car was a 6 speed.
We ran three races one from a dig and one from a 30mph and 40mph roll, from a roll he put about 3 cars on me each time.... from a dig...

So... no, im not faster than a slightly modded T/A... and thats all i wanted to know, i thank the owner of said T/A for driving all that way just to meet up with me and help me out with my inquiry... Guess ill just throw on a few more mods and try again... im not that modded just yet so another $500 should get me about where i wanna be im contemplating what to do after i get my exhaust... the thought of 10:1 compression pistons has been lingering there for a while, ill prolly go that route

Anything wakes up a ls1 even the free mods

 

The LS1 guys here are telling me that the guy cant drive, headers dont add that much, ect, ect, ect...

i dont know who the hell to believe anymore lol, im hearing a million different things... i have a feeling i should trust what you guys are saying tho...

depends on the tune... with LTS its anywere from 15-40 horse... and a lid is just .5-1hp.

 

well stock there about 305, with lid/catback about 315 and with headers about 340...

 

Headers and a tune on a LS should get around 30 rwhp. My personal experience was 18 rwhp from the headers and another 12 rwhp for the tune. I could possibly see an Fbody getting a little more since the stock exhaust is so restrictive. It would have to be an entire change though headers, y pipe, and catback for anything above 30 rwhp.

 

Ok im going to jump in here .. hey .. dont be frustrated.. all every one says maybe true...but each car is diff.

My car stock went 8.46 and 13.01 at 107 .. my friends ta same year about same mods .. excpt auto, barley made it out of the 9.0s in an 8th .. so every car is a little diff.. seems you have a nice ride .. good luck with it

Lol, your saying a lid gives 1/2 a hp?

your hp can very from dyno run to dyno run by more then 1/2 a hp... lids will typically give you 5-10 or so rwhp, exhuast about 10 (depends on what kind), and headers about 15-30(without a cam).

a lot of bolt on cars running lid, headers and exhuast from what Ive seen make 340+ to 360+(some are freaks) rwhp...

well it's still gay...thats why i said no offense. It did run very well, but still a saturn. WTF do you mean my car creaks, when have you riden in my car? I guess you have to take up for him, cause yours is pretty much the same thing, except slower.
