It's so curious that after 3.5 years I did exactly that 3500 stall though

I realize you are the OP, I realize that you have been here a while. What baffles me is bumping this to say that.

throw those 10.5 x 16 Et streets back on your car. Drop those bitches to 11 psi (cold pressure. once you do a burnout you'll get 2 or 3 psi). Get some of that loved VHT trackbite everyones talking about.
Do all of this^^^ relocate the battery to the back and also remove the front swaybar. If you cant hook with the tires you have after doing all of the above its time to stop racing there or pick up roll racing.

SO op you did a m6 to a4 swap?? Did it solve your traction issue? I just read this whole thread, and it seems you did the hardest suggestion of them all. Lol but idk...

I have seen posts where guys say they have fit a 13" wide tread pattern out back with perfect offset and bfh and fender rolling. I plan on trying it but not that far yet.

Well, yes, I decided to do what looked easiest, and swap to A4.

LOL.

OK, during these time not much changed. I've turbocharged my LS1. Put TC78 in it. And now I've gone berserk and ordered built 4L80E from Jakesperformance and triple-disc converter from Circle-D. Not the most common way to improve traction, I know lol.
Before turbo, car went best ET 12.97@110mph on small MT ET Streets. Then after turbo, it went 14.1 on 28x11.5 ET Drags LOL.
I was going to get some used QA1's for the front, but didn't have enough time.
So now my 4L80 is in the beginning of it's 7000 mile journey to Latvia. We'll see how it ends. Maybe I will have another chance to order front QA1's

Oh BTW, why didn't anyone mention LCA relocating brackets? Are they useless?
Yes, I'm going to remove/loosen front swaybar

edit: 28x11.5" ET DRag slicks fit very tightly, I will have to BFH some more

blower is good, but we still have very very very crappy tracks here. So I need unreal weight transfer I guess?

A line lock, MT streets, adjustable shocks and a good burn out is probably your best bet.

But AWD kills even at a prepped track also.

What springs should I get with QA1s - 275 or 300? Keep in mind I have heavy nose with 4" intercooler hanging in the front of the tires

I have 275 springs on my QA1's, with an iron block.. They're cranked all the way up, you could get away with either spring.. Id do the 275's though, since you have about the same front weight as I do.

I always roll out of my burnout way pass were we are lining up on the street. To get the hot robber down in front of me so it cleans the road and puts hot rubber down to stick to.

LCA's with relocation brackets helps a ton. Do you have a torque arm and subframe connectors?

As for the topic, AWD shines off the track so well. Even on a dusty back road you hook and book without having to think twice about road conditions.

A little update in the setup!
I've got my Strange single adjustable front shocks finally and now I'm in the process of installing (though I broke top "stud" on one of them after torquing to about 37lbs).
I was a bit surprised to see that fully extended these shocks are not longer than my Bilsteins, so they will not allow the front of the car to raise higher. I thought they would be much longer. I'm thinking of getting new "stud" machined a bit longer to allow the car to sit higher relative to the shock. Is this a good idea or not? That would help weight transfer I guess?

You still trying to beat the AWD cars? What pressure where you running in the MT's?
BF Goodrich KDW2's might help in the dirt since there tread pattern is pretty aggressive or try these... Toyo R888's might be your only hope...
Good luck bro...
