so tonight first night out with the new et streets
we go to the meet but nothing really going on (lame)
so we decide to go out on the hunt and we find a srt8 and a m3 so the srt and the m3 go at it and the m gets em by i think a car or so than he turns right
so i turn right after him
and he about three cars ahead so i give it a little to get next to him
and
he starts going for it so i start chasing him down
and once i chased him three cars there is a ******* truck in front of me so
time to slow down get behind him so i can pass the truck
and i get on his side and guess what this cocky basterd did??
he yawns at us
so we pull up to the next light and at this time he sees the slicks
so i launch hard at like 4,000 rpms
and put like 8 cars on him in first gear(round 1) and
he pulls up again this time like 40 roll and i still put like 3 cars before he gave up(round two)
so me and rob double yawned his *** before he ran off scard lol

so after that we were rollin around on the hunt and actully found quite a few subys etc... but they were all scard and being bitchs
untill we find this riced out stratus so we get next to them and its a couple of chicks
and there all
whats up and i say back
we stop at a light, and i ask them how there doing and they say show us what u got,,.. so im like ok and tell im going to make a right
and they start acting all thug like and saying to stop at ampm
and i realize that there not talking about the the car
so i figure the want to shoot us or **** or something so
so i was like ether way i do not want to find out and got **** out of there
and went and ate up on some more rice

yea personeally i dont challenge any car that i know is slower then me to a race! lol it jus brings me down u know, but like i usally wait till cars come and challenge me to a race that way they know there ******* with the wrong car hahah =) watch out for PO-PO i mean 5-0

well yea it was the brand new m3 so it was a little faster than the old ones
that and i need something to test the new slicks out on all the "fast cars" in town were being ******
and i probly would not of botherd but i saw him barly beat a moded s r t 8
so i decided to remide him that his car is not the badass that he thought it was

8 cars on a newer m3 in 1st gear? i thought they were supposed to be pretty quick (330hp or so)?

they do make lots of HP, but they're made for handling, not nessecarily for drag, so their suspension probably doesnt help them hook very well...add to that what i suspect is a very meaty mid/high powerband at the expense of low down torque (once again, for road and track stayle racing) and you get a shitty launch. the moral of the story is...

******' beamers...leave going fast to the big boys

i can already anticipate the a wave of "do you know how much hp and what ETs x, y, and z beamers can put down???" don't even think about it because i can guaran-*******-tee you that for every fast high dollar beamer out there, there's a dozen f-bods that can run faster for half as much coin.

I doubt it was an 08 M3, or even an 06. Actually I just doubt you put 8 lengths or anything close to that in first..The 08's have a 414hp V8...

Yeah I refuse to race any car that doesn't at least run 12's....I won't be racing any 08 M3's either.....not when I make as much hp to the tire as they do at the flywheel

well first of all i was running slicks, he was not,second i actlly know how to drive my car and well how bmw owners do you know that know how to drive and third im puttin around 375 to the ground with 373 gears
which equals 8 cars on a 08 m3 in first

yeah pretty much,. btw i actlly feel better now knowing it was a 400 hp car and that i was not just beating up on a car with 100 less horsepower, thanks for the info
as for know positvly if it was an 08 im not a bmw expert but it looked fancey and had dealer plates and well he had desent power because i only pulled about 3 cars from a roll
and i have not had the time to go though and do my mod list, that and it gets bigger as we speak

It could not have been. The first production runs that will be produced for the USA (for the coupe) are in December 2007, delivery in March 08.

While I have no doubt that the poster beat the m3 (333hp at the crank - I6) with his 370 for rear wheel horse power, it was not an e92 m3. Pricing in the US has not even been released yet by bmw. You can not even configure one on their web site at this time - bmwusa.com, forum is http://www.m3post.com/forums/index.php

A closer race would be to find a tuned 2007 bmw 335 (twin turbo I6 - N54 engine), they put down 375 rear wheel HP and 405 rear wheel torque with low 12 1/4 mile times, 110 mph+.
