Couple friends, just a quick run and well as you can see thats all that needs to be said...he said he would walk me from a roll and thats what happened. sound is awful... sorry

Was he racing? I mean a stock SR is nothing major but it wouldnt get pulled that hard unless you got some mods. My old SR trapped 100+ with just upped boost.

Umm...stock 240sx's are slow...I don't know what you're talking about, they get pulled hard by the LS1.

I didn't see a race.
What race?

The vid was 4 seconds long and I could barely make out the sound of a V8 through this fuzzy static ****, and I didn't hear no one redline an SR20. Those little bastards scream hard.

He meant, stock SR20DET motor.
They are good for 280-320rwhp with just a 'twist & bend' to the stock turbo and 240's weigh about 2700 pnds with no weight reduction.

This is true ^^^^^

They are fun little 4 cylinders. But I didnt see much of a race.

yeah he was having problems with the blow off valve, i guess he is usually faster? i dont know why but thats what he said. he took off the BOV and got a test pipe and he almost keeps up now.

No BOV in a manual high boost car equals turbo death. Everytime that throttle plate shuts, his turbo is suddenly trying to pump air into a fixed volume with no outlet if he has no BOV. That tends to do nasty things to turbo shafts and compressor wheels.

If his BOV is leaking under boost, that would definitely slow him down. Boost leaks are the devil.

Nice kill I dont want to take anything away from you but you just beat a medium 14 second car, stock SR's suck but thats what you get for $1200 ( yes they are that cheap )
