Did anyone notice the ******* rainbow fanny pack in his avatar? LMFAO, if he is for real then I am greatly disappointed in todays youth. His car does look badass though, if I was gay and mentally retarted I would have one just like it.

I almost fell out of my chair reading that.

Yes, I have driven a s2k, and one of the faster ones too. A good friend owns a s2000 with 20K in mods (full suspension, ultimate racing turbo kit, AEM tuned)
that I was able to drive on a track both pre/post mods, so I am well aware of how they handle. Its already been proven that with an equal driver, a fbody can turn faster lap times than a stock s2000, regardless of how much "worry" or lackof, you have. Handling feel and stopwatch performance are sometimes two different things.

Well, yeah I wouldnt expect an S2K to pull away from an SS in the straights, but on a nice twisty road (no professional drivers) my money would be on the S. Lol, im not going to sit here and argue it. Ive driven SS's, TA's etc, if you've never driven an S its hard to compare, believe me you can throw an S into corners with no worry, I wouldnt do that in an F-bod, just my .02 cents.

An fbody doesnt handle more precisely than an S2000. The only reason a camaro pulls quicker times, is do to the straight aways. Given equal power and equal drivers, the results would be different. Not taking anything away from the camaro, it just doesnt compare. Let me give you another situation. The camaro also best the lotus/miata around the same track, but are you going to tell me, it outhandles a lotus/miata? I sure hope not. Power plays a huge roll on the straights. And this enables you to regain the advantage you lost on the twisties. Having a 600-700lb advantage, saves on tires, brakes and suspension in the long run.
