Killed a S-trim 5.0 Stang
When we met up tonight at our usual spot I was "slotted" to race a friend of mine in his 94 GT. Some of his mods: Vortech S-trim (around 12lbs), heads, cams, forged internals. He dyno's 507hp/497tq. I have never dyno'ed on nitrous and I spray a 62N and 35F which I think is a 125 wheel shot, just two jets rich on the fuel pill. My bottle heater wasn't working so I ran on 800psi, but with a full bottle. We were both on DR's from a 40ish roll. First run: I steadily walk from the 2nd gear roll and by the top of 4th I have at least 5 car lengths. When we get back, he claims he let out at the end of 3rd gear. He puts 2 bags of ice on his intake to cool it off and says he wants to run again. Second Run: same speed and gear as the first, I pull around 3 to 4 car lengths all the way to the start of 5th gear. I shut down about 130. Guy was very cool and just admitted that I had too much for him. He has a real sleeper with no exterior mods at all.

doesnt give you more power itself, but having a fresh bottom end built for boost will let you run some more boost than you normally would on stock shortblock. its kinda like fuel mods, they dont give you power per say, but they are important.

i have seen close to 500 it was around 490 on about 12 psi w/ meth injection. heads cams intake and a return style fuel system. this was also on a stock bottom end. talk about being on borrowed time.

The races were both video taped and I will edit this post with the links attached as soon as they are up. Thanks 4 reading!

Stock pulley??..maybe he meant the pulley that was ordered with the kit. THere isn't a 'stock' pulley parse....just what size you order with the kit. He can def. up the boost on forged internals, and what not. Those are nice numbers given what he started with....he more than doubled his FWHP. I consider that impressive.

His clutch was slipping, his belt was slipping, there was too much air in the left front tire and the air bag deployed when he nailed 3rd. One more thing...I'm no boy, bitch.
Good kill, OP. Gotta love the simplistic and inexpensive results of some Nitrous sprayed in an LSx.
