stock z06 VS 395 rwhp TA Guys I need yalls help on this one, after you watch the video you will see that this "stock" z06 pulls me pretty bad and I just dynoed last weekend at 395rwhp. Can his car really be stock or what? I didn't think that he would beat me like that.

great vid, great runs your car is strong 
I think a stock C6 Z06 puts down about 460 rwhp maybe a little more and the car is about 3100 pounds i think the vid is right

it could. alot also on the Z06 is the 3:42 gears and transmission. Anythings possible with the vette. I have raced supposed 450 RWHP cars and beat them in the 1/4 mile in my Z06

Careful there bud lol. That is my friends car haha. It has a widebody kit on it. It is a 79, and it is actually a really good looking car. From the front it looks like a 944. But to each his own, I think you are only the second person to say that they didn't like it.

I don't know... that "stock" ZO6 was startin to pull you pretty hard... kind of hard to believe that its "stock" but of course that is a very wide definition thrown around here. I would guess he's not "factory" stock.

This is what I was thinking, I just can't imagine that that car is factory stock. I mean he says he pulls c6 vettes by 4-6 cars. So atleast I am not the only one who thinks it ain't stock. He told my buddy in the rx7 that he has beaten 460rwhp cobras, and my buddy did better than them. Come on now, how does a "stock" z06 beat 460rwhp cobras?

Speed's car does in fact beat C6's and 500rwhp cobras. All the videos are on speedinjection.org and on streetfire. I have looked over his car many times and it is indeed stock besides a halltech intake. Speed can drive. And if you think his Z06 is fast, ha you should have ran his TA before it went

Depending on both of your driving skills, I suppose it could have been stock, but it seems like he pulled you pretty good.
For reference, I raced an 03 Z06 with just a lid and catback when I was making 386/344 from 1st through fifth and he ended up about a quarter of a car in front of me. Granted, I am not an amazing driver or anything, especially back then, so it was pretty even or to his advantage in that department.
The guy you raced could just have a very strong running car. Have you been to the track? If he's stock or close to it but has a strong car from the factory, he could be trapping as high as 118. And I doubt you're trapping that much with less than 400rwhp.
An honorable death either way!

ive raced several stock c5 z06's.. none pulled like that, that is one hell of a freak if its stock, i dont think so though, if it is he needs to get a cam in it now and it will absolutley fly.. but a 395 rwhp TA is>/= to a stock c5 z06 so somethin is up there, i pulled one at 370 rwhp...
