Default My 89 RS vs 07 Charger

He claimed to weigh 3500 lbs, headers, exhaust, programer and intake. Was a ton of fun but the second race i didnt catch on film was when my clutch went out, i still won though

I didnt think theese cars weighed so little, i thought they were in the 4000 club.

Holy crap, you destroyed him. He lied to you, they weigh right around 4100lbs. Was it a srt-8, or just a regular hemi?

Good run
If it was SRT-8 those are fast for a 4100lbs car , quarter mile low 13's

I beat an Srt8 Charger from a dig with my t56, no posi and 2.73s. Thats the only reason he would race cause he knew my rear axle was crap.

Hey Captian Smokey,
I have been trying to send you a PM but now you are accepting messages, so I am posting here. Please send me the tracking number on the clutch I purchased from you, it still has not arrived.

I ran a 9.0 in the 1/8th with the old motor, ill not see the track with this one till i get the new rear and trans in. It is a 350 2 bolt .030 over. Comp cam XE 236/242@.050 with 520/540 lift on a 110 LSA. Stock heads from the 70s with some port work, performer inyake, headman full lengths with dual cutouts and ran thru a blowmaster. It is fed by a holley 750 Vac segondary. It is a T5 with stock style clutch, it also is big nasty posi with 2.73!!!

Sounds good man, ill see when i can get out again, i work 6 on 3 off so my days off alternate. I tried to run a kid with a orange 07 stang and he had mufflers and cat delete, but he was scared i guess, when he told me his car catched a "mean" second i was like look dude, my **** doesnt even churp 2nd he was like "WTF"? I tild him my car was nothing special, i guess he didnt believe me.

I think itll go 8.60 in the 1/8 now maybe, it runs alittle batter than it did going 9.0s, i think it is due to full length headers and a air gap intake, it had shortys and performer intake before. Same cam, 2 less cibes, the other motor was .040(big deal). You day you have a A5? I wasnt aware they put them in the stang, that is sweet, you need a 3.73 too!
