Default Sti Mustang And My Ta

Well last ngiht me and my brother decided to go up to dotie rd one last time in chicago for the end of the year.
ME=TA
BRO 04 STI

1st race
id say a 2000? mustang GT on a DRAG radial
ON SPRAY
VS
MY 01 TA
I gave him 2 cars off a flagger
keep in mind i'm on a sumitomo tire and i babied it out of hole.
he was still 2 cars ahead of me when i hit 65mph but when i hit 3rd gear i pulled 3 cars up and had him by a car.
he claimed the quartermile was earlier then it was and that he won.. being chicago and all i didnt wanna get shot so i didnt argue and paid up the 20$

next race
04 STI bros intake exhaust tune 20 PSI boost AWD
mustang asks for 4 cars off flag
It was a good race mustang won by half a car. it was really close. then again lost another 40$ to him

There was a guy in a str8 charger or w/e they are that wanted action with the STI
So we did a race with him granny shifted and beat the charger to get 20$ back
So all in all
lost 40$
was fun..
I NEED A good TIRE!!!!!!!

I think thats pretty sad that mustag having to spary to keep up with my low modded car.
The guy in the mustang when we raced said DAMN you came up hard on me at the end. I was like well i would came up hard on you in the beginning but i'm babying it outta the hole.
O well it was fun

Never give lengths on a money race, good job on not getting shot though!

I do hope you beat him with your 406 RWHP cammed/stalled LS1. He would have to be pushing a 250 shot to even come close. They only come 260HP stock (1999-2004) about 220-235RWHP is the average from what I've seen on a dyno.

Sounds like fun! $40 isn't worth getting shot over, but now you know for next time to ask exactly where the finish line is, haha.
