no dude if that. i used to have a gti vr6 and it ran like a low 15. now the r32 (which has the same concept motor as the vr6 just larger) is a much faster car. the r32 has a 3.2 litre vr6 and its a single block V. it has a 15 degree angle between the heads and it makes decent torque for a motor its size. the vr6 you raced was a 2.8 litre. youre motor is twice his and he weighs just as much as you. nice kill thou

Good kill. You have heads and no cam??? Any dyno or track numbers with that thing? Just curious.

Yeah I beat two VR6 cars with my 97 V6 Camaro. Of course they thought they were sooo fast...

I know a couple VR6s you could race. They run a little boost.

a good driver a Vr6 with cams & bolt-ons (exhaust, intake, tune) will run low 14 and might dip into the high 13s on street tires (not dr's). With 22" slicks and the above mentioned mods I went a best of 13.5 @ 101 in my 98 GTI VR6. Not fast, but not slow either.

Having said all that, Im not surprised at all by the out come you posted.

buddy of mine was driving my old 93 mitsu 3000GT SL, and he got smoked by a GTI, the newest model to come out. pulled up at the next light and told him to follow him...he was returning my car to my house. buddy calls me and said "go in the garage, when you hear the cars, start it, door shut, and then open the garage and roll out" i thought he was jokin, did it anyway, and the GTI wanted a run.
well, this was before the rear end and procharger and new trans, but i was like, i have nothing to lose.
from a dig, with stock, 3.23 gear and top down, beat him to 70 by five or more cars, babying it because i had such bad gear whine
