Ha I would laugh if he still had the stock H-pipe on there. You will beat him. What year did you say he was again? I forgot. If it was 96-98 he would be lucky to have 200rwhp.

I got the same excuse from my buddy on his 97' CBR 600 F3, He was at my back bumper from ~50-130. I pulled to there on the hit and then neither of us moved after that. It was in my cam and bolt-on 02 WS6 w/412rwhp 392rwtq.

its a 99' dude is pretty dumb he really thought his exhaust was stock and still that loud, he says his neighbor (mustang owner) looked at it an said its a h-pipe but he doesn't know about the mufflers, other then that its an auto with a k/n intake, the guy he bought it from told him its was tuned, diablo i think. so with that 260 chp goes to 300rwhp don't know how he got those #'s.

Yeah, I could hope to maybe beat a poorly-driven 6spd LS1 from a stop right now. Or maybe a 2.73/A4. Once I get LTs/4.10s/tune that will be enough to challenge the others (except from a highspeed roll). But not right now. And I'm damn near full-bolton. These cars with just exhaust and a short shifter need to realize their place on the food chain

i dont see how u can run with ls1s irun11s, i have a 95 formy(in sig) and run 8.3s(in sig) i have headers, catback, gears, tune, and im dead even with BONE STOCK ls1s until 105ish and then they leave me, and ive ran a few bolt on gts, the fastest being an 03 auto with 3.55s, Intake, TB, Intake Elbow, headersm xpipe, flows, and tuned(who supposedly ran 8.6s, and i beat him from a 30 roll(me in 2nd at 3000 and him in 1st at 4000) and i pulled him by like 3-4 cars up to 110...so it just dont make sense that a bolt on gt can run even a stock ls1 unless its a really bad driver...no offence btw

My car is *capable* of mid 13s as it sits. I've seen plenty of LS1s that run mid 13s or worse. That's why I said I could "hope" to win. As in, I wouldn't expect to. But with the LTs/4.10s/tune I'd have a touch more power/torque than a stock Mach 1 (though not as broad a powerband), and much better gearing... so it wouldn't be inconceivable at all that I *could* hang with an LS1 from a stop. But speculation is masturbation.

I'm gonna save up money and get the LTs/4.10s/tune at the same time, cuz I'm fairly sure that even through 4.10s I should be at 280-285rwhp... and that would be mucho fun

4.10's will knock off about .4-.5 sec. Longtubes .1-.3 depending on brand. Some of the best are American racing, they will get you atleast .3
