got some props
got some props now that the motor's broken in, I un plugged it after work, and was hoping for some action on the way home, not today, but pulling out from a stop light there was a van next to me, I was revving slow and shifting about 3 grand, with the open exhaust it's pretty loud (could hear it echoing off the cars going the other way 
), well I'm just crusin along and the van jumps out of no where, then nails the brakes to get side by side, I look over and the guys all pumped and excited, showing me shaka, givvin props, I know he couldnt see through the blacked out tint so I roll the window down and get side by side, again gives me props, I realize whats up and give a shaka back, cool to see other people interested, not jealous!

Re: got some props i also get the random people that pull up to me at lights and either give me a thumbs up or tell me "hey, nice car." its nice to know that the guy pulling up to you in the carolla or minivan has respect for these great cars.

Re: got some props I was eating lunch at a Wendy's a few days ago and two kids about 16 years old were walking around my car staring at it and looking in the windows. They proceeded to tell me how nice it was and that they wanted one just like it. It's always nice getting props for your ride.

"Honey, remember my old 69 chevelle?" "It would actually run." "Kids these days have no reason to make their cars loud." "They ain't got nothin but a small block with 200HP ha ha ha."
Then the old guys pull the car into neutral to rev at you,
and the whole time the old grandma wife is saying "honey, please dont do this"
The light changes green and the old guy takes off flooring it in the 4 door
and says "I told you I could smoke him" "They just don't make'em like they used to"
NEWS FLASH------> LS1 cars will not race slow ford 4 doors.
especially when the car is loaded with family.
The only crown vic I race is the one that tries to get behind me with blue lights flashing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno... my father and mother were both into cars in their younger day, and are always into waving to nice 4th gen F-Bodies or C4/C5s... I was one of the few who enjoyed the benefit of being raised on Domestic muscle-cars, hehe. Doesn't hurt when I can't make an insurance payment, either, hehe (My mom: "Oh honey, it's ok, I'll pick it up for you this month. Damn insurance companies don't know what a REAL car is anyway!")
