Two words. DRY SHOT. You can hide the bastard in the spare tire well and have the nozzle coming through the air filter. If you get a 5lb bottle you can be even more creative. Spend like 350 plus the cost of a bottle fill up and slap a 100 dry shot on your junk and rape him.

I'd be willing to bet hes hiding something anyway. It's a money race and he's racing with mommy and daddy's cheese so there isn't really anything to feel bad about. If you work for yours you should work hard to keep it.

If you don't have one I would go through his intake with a fine toothed comb just to make sure he doesn't.

I learned from previous experiences believe me.

I used to live in a small town and more than once my v-8 s10 would spank someone they would come back for a "money race". I'm pretty good at spotting nitrous on a fox body now.

I think you should get him, but it will probably be a close race. There are several 06 & 07 GTs around my area and the fastest one has run a best of 12.57 full bolt-ons with 4.10 gears & MT ET Streets. That was on a 52 degree night. Normally he runs 12.70s to 12.80s and he is one of the best stick drivers I have seen. So if the guy can't drive very good the win goes to you all the way.

I'd say it's actually more common with F-bods to have spray.

Run 'em and report back, OP.

A bolt on and geard 05-07 GT with some inexperienced punk kid driving is NO MATCH for a stalled, full exhaust LS1. Would be a great race if the young kid knew how to drive.

It's just a few bucks, run him. Anything can happen in a race like this.

This will not even be a race. But you will definitely need some drag radials and some VHT so your positive you will hook. Bc even with my DR's i still spun like hell after my converter install.

Most people who talk about racing before just racing are full of ****, in my experience. This kid doesn't sound any different.
I agree. The kid's car definitely has some mid 12 potential as it sits right now..........BUT, that's with a driver who knows what he's doing behind the wheel. There's no WAY that kid has had enough time to learn to drive his setup to its potential in that short a period of time. Hell, I've had my blower for a year and a half now, and I STILL find my car getting away from me from time to time.

My verdict: I say he's missing the good driver mod.......and it WILL hurt him in your race. BUT...............don't eff up your launch, just in case. Good luck man.

If you do spray it, DO NOT beat him by alot!!!! You have an auto, put the unit on a switch and only use the button to get/stay ahead of him. Make it a close race. Then you have the chance to race him again for money, but still have more in reserve. HAHA
That's a true hustle.

You might not want to go out on DR's for the time to race this dude if you have your launch down on ST. You might bog hard or spin nasty. If you do get them try a few paractice launches before you race.

get some tires and take some weight outta that bitch. drop front and rear bumber supports and spare tire and jack, rear seats, etc..... drop over a 100lbs then after the race put it back if you want. you need some DR's if your going to take full advantage of the stall, youll dust his *** if he has a manual outta the hole and his 4.6 shouldnt hang on the big end either. good luck, take this rich ******* out.

We know. We know.

When it comes to cars, MUSTANG is an acronym, not a noun. If they want to be fast NA, they all have to swap in a Chevy motor. It's becoming so popular in Fox bodies. Kooks just came out with a really nice header specifically made for Fox body's running a Chevy motor

Fbods are definitely faster than Stangs, but dont discredit the Stang. If my car was a hard top it should be in the mid to low 12's, but being a vert I am looking for about a 12.8. Obviously I wont be able to take out too many LS1s but I should be able to grab a few.

Honestly there are a bunch of Stangs that run mid to low 12's and even a bunch that run 11's and 10's on motor. A lot of the bad rep has come from people with a CAI and catback that think they are kings of the road, or in other words a Mustang Ricer.

Your a chevy boy telling us how we " mustangs always resort to nitrous?". i just find irony in this as the ls1 crowd is FIENDS for the bottle lol. not many cars can take the bottle like an ls1 can (150 shots on stock block is do able often). not making fun just pointing out the funny things.

to the OP, get a bottle, borrow a kit from someone if you have too. you are not in DIRE need of one but it certainly wouldnt hurt as a full bolt on 05 GT is not to be taken lightly with your mods. they are usually nothign to worry about but can be sometimes, this is one of those times. good luck
