Well, contrary to what the consensus would like everyone to believe in here.....not EVERY Mustang you encounter on the street is a slow POS. You never know if the guy you're lined up next to is built up better than you. It's best not to assume.

Ok so theres this one kid whose mom bought him an 06 mustang GT, i had a catback and he was all stock, and i smoked him pretty bad 3 months ago. i have an auto.
Now he wants to race for some cash now that hes done with his car.. hes 17 and im 19... he doesnt know how to launch i think without bogging. but that was also 3 months ago..
now i have full exhaust and 3200ss stall. my best 1/8 time is 8.14
and he now has gears, and full bolt ons, maf, gears, slicks, cai, x pipe, headers and tune... 3.90 gears.
Should i take him up on the $200 offer? he CLAIMS it has 370hp in it but i dont think so..

well, mother nature has taken her brookstick and fucked me again. The constant rain has cancelled my event :rant: and tomorrow isnt looking promising either, with a low of 29 and drizzling rain at night... i dont trust mustang ricer fanboy enough for him to launch next to me in the rain. probably would hit me then tell mommy someone backed into him.

It is now a 351 based motor.... which changes the journals on the crank. and standard bore size.
All parts that I have ordered can be had from a Ford Performance catalog. The carb, ignition, intake manifold, camshaft, and cylinder heads can be ordered out of a Jegs or Summitt catalog.
Sorry that you think all Ford Owners in the world are completely incapable of building anything faster then your 12 second ls1.
Minus the fact that the motor I put together (Did not do the cylinder head work - Hooper & Schneider here at Work did...
) is the fastest LSX N/A record holder as well. Pic of the ol Bullet from the 95 Cobra....
