Default My truck beats rice.

ive got a mitsubishi raider pickup, 4wd and v8 and all the options, got it for towing the camaro the 2 hours to the race track i go to. and when it snows.
im driving back from gamestop, took my brother there for a video game, and up comes a protege. fart can and pearlescent paint job, boost gauges and ridiculous rims.
he is revving at me. the roads are slick but i have it in 4wd. he floors it after three honks and i do too. i walked him.
truck, bed full of snow and two passengers walks this supposedly built protege.
makes me sick to think i built my camaro when my truck beats the competition lol.

Hilarious, hahaha. Nice kill!

Some people are just plain clueless about cars. Like when Tiburons and cavaliers with fart can try to race me. It's worth a good laugh though

good kill man......

You would not believe how many a ricer my 91 c1500 5.7 sport (looks exactly like a 454ss) waxed when I drove it regularly. I drove it OVER a mountain to school everyday for a couple years and there was a certain eclipse that got his *** handed to him so much I felt bad for him and quit racing him no matter how much he tried to goad me. I had lt's, upped fuel pressure, and an electric fan. Oh and over 200k LOL

I really knew the mountain though and actually had all 4 in air a couple times in one section!!!!

Sounds kinda odd that a Protege would pull up to a pickup truck and rev to race?!?! That's just me.

well it is commonly known around here that the truck i was in (the only raider in the area with the V8 and 4WD, not many made) is the one that pulls my camaro to the dragstrip.whenever i race someone around here in my camaro, we always get to talking. ive been at stoplights and have had people tell me stories about how their friends raced me, and how they said not to race his (my) camaro. people ive never even met.
my guess would be that it was someone who knew of me, or someone i went to school with (second semester of automotive classes) in fact i met more people to run in my performance classes than anywhere else.
was odd yeah, but much stranger things have happened to me.

That's funny. I didn't think Raiders came with the V8's. My slow DD is the only one enjoying ricer kills right now (I hate not being able to embarrass people with the T/A.)

Okay, I got you, I knew there had to be more to it.

On a side note, I almost pulled the trigger on one of those Raiders when they drastically dropped the prices. This is the one that's a Dodge Dakota in Mitsu clothing, right? Model year 06 I think? The prices were phenomenal for what you got in return.
