was driving dow the raod the other day and saw a light blue cobra and i belive it was an 01.. well anyways i saw him just sitting at the light about 3 cars ahead of me in the other lane and he was break tourqin it smoke rollin off the tires (trying to be billy bad ***) i was just hinkin damn i wish i was next to him so the light changed and after this light it is a straight away for about 10 miles. so i start to speed up and go around a couple cars to get up next to him. he was drivin around 70 and just cruzing after doing his little show off at the light so u pulled up next to him and threw him a couple revs. he looked over and nodded at me. so i gave him 3 honks and we were off we went from 70 to 130 and shut down. right away he put about a half a car on me... bet then it seemed like he stoped i started to pull hard like he was sitting still i put about 4 cars on him then i shut down.. he drove by and waved. seemed like a chill guy

nice kil. i also have an 01 the way u can tell is if the spoiler molds to the trunk if it doesnt its an 01 otherwise is a 99...the slower of the 2 from the factory neways....without the recall work done......dide u race him with the car in ur sig

Nice kill. Were you in the wrong gear? For you to put that many cars on him but have him jump out like that right off the bat is strange, but sounds like you came around top end. With the power you're putting down, he must have been one quick car.

Edit: Just saw you're an Auto. Makes more sense now.

yes i raced him in the car in my sig......i dunno wut happened i was in 2nd gear i was sorta out of it that day though i was so tired

Well those 3-speed gears are gonna be a lot longer than his 5-speed (??? or 6???), so he'll be in a better range if he drops gears properly for that initial hit. But once yours comes up into your powerband, he's done.

yea i have some pictures of my car.....but no i have no videos spent all my money on the car cant afford a video camera....gas prices are shyty
