Good Kill!
I've beat quite a few LS1's myself. And yeah they are faster on top end than our cars (LT1), but out of the hole up till 60mph I always put my money on the LT1 b/c they just pull like a raped ape! I have almost the exact same mods as alot of my friends with LS1's and every race I get them till 3rd gear and they just start to pull me. Not by much but they get me..... Just wanted to say good Kill and something to be proud of! A kill is a kill.
Keep up the mods... Gotta love the LT1 when it's running good. They make awesome street cars!

See my previous response. I know a 2.73 auto LS1 is faster top end than an LT1. That's not what I was saying. I was saying a 2.73 auto LS1 isn't necessarily the strongest LS1 you're gonna run into and could have been a reason why the results came out like they did. You can't expect every stock LS1 out there to be a 3.42 M6. There's gonna be a big difference between that and the 2.73 auto car from a higher roll.
