Dont wanna be a dick, but I just didnt see many good races in there. There is traffic everywhere, no honk, viper hit first numerous times...looks like a close race though. 2 nice cars.

Come on man..dont knit pik..LOL..How many day time vids of a viper and Z06 have seen with 5 minutes of races????

The Viper just launched much much harder than the Z06 due to the 3.73 gears ( they come with 3.07 gears stock)

I personally thought these were awesome races between two nearly dead even cars..Stupid to race in traffic like that..but non the less a much better watch than 90% of the fuzzy night time vids that last 45 seconds out their.

Cool vid, not all the best races, but a few of them really show how close they were. It seems like down low the Viper was stronger, but the Z06 may have had a bit of an edge in triple digits. Then again, hard to tell. Definitely two dead even cars and it seems to have come down to the drivers.

Not a good vid. That was a waste of 4 minutes. About a minute of racing that was decent. You want to run here yeah and he wacks it. WTF?

+1 They sound great at idle but as soon as the throttle is touched it goes to hell. I don't understand it though. The Porshe V-10 sounds great as does the BMW V-10 then you get to the Viper and it sounds horrible. I don't understand it.

I could be horribly off base here, but I'm thinking the firing order has
something to do with it. My Viper knowledge is little to none.

The Viper v10 is a huge engine....488 ci for theGTS's and rt10's like the one in this video and 505 ci for SRT10's like mine...

But they are not "big" blocks...They are long blocks...

As well dont think of a Viper as a V10 when it comes to the sound..It's actually more like to 5 cylinder engines that are paired together and working on each side...In the 488 ci RT10's case like the one in the video it even has a seperate throttle body for each 5 cylinder engine....

So ypour never gonna get that LS1 V8 sound from one man...My stock LS1 2004 C5 vette sounded a hell of a lot better than my stock 99 rt10 Viper....My current 2003 SRT10 Viper sounds better than my 99 rt10 did...But still like a pissed off UPS truck in comparison to my LS1 vette...

The one and only thing I like about the Viper sound is that it's very unique..Other than that it sucks

I'm not looking for a LS1 sound or anything I just think the Viper should sound better than it does. I know you get my point (killemall) but for those who don't here's my example's
Here's a M5 v-10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRYYe0kLCto
Here's a porshe v-10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdePh...eature=related
Here's a Lambo : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cutGF...eature=related
All v-10's and all sound world's better than the viper. I'm sure its the way the engine is designed and setup but I wish Dodge would fix that ****. That's a big part of a super car if you ask me. They gotta sound good.

Cool vid. But put some rock music in it next time, LOL, I don't like the techno beat stuff!

The few GOOD races there were showed two very evenly matched cars.

+1. Seems to me the Viper driver didn't shift all that well either.

ha ha ha you got me *** wipe....

On the viper forums a question that is always asked is if the V10 is a big block..And after numerous discussions it's always termed as a long block..

As in the Ci isnt 488 or 5xx because of the actual size..but basically because its a V8 sized engine with two more cylinders slapped on...VS an actual 502 CI monster V8 engine that would really be a Big Block..

And this explains the shitty sound

that was the worst series of races i have ever seen.....

they guy in the vette "right here".... as the viper just takes off no honking no lights or a "ready, set, go".....

the viper took a 1-2 sec = 4-5 car hit every time

gayest thing i have ever seen.

i dont even know why im responding to this post
