That said, do you have any times/numbers for your 3.8? Just curious.

Anyone can make any car fast with money and the right mods, but unless you're comparing daily drivers (and even sometimes WHEN you're comparing daily drivers), a near stock 2001 V6 Fbody is slow. Especially on an LSX site where "you need to be out of the 13s before you can talk trash".

I'd love to push my car past my poor High-15 second time, but I don't have the money for that. Maybe after college, I'll do something with it as a side project. I have to rely on this car right now to get me from point a to b without problems. I'm glad I have one of the most reliable motors ever installed in my car.

That's why I'm glad I had my Integra back in high school... 14.97 out of the box . Pretty sad that it was the fastest import at school, but there were MANY F-bodies/Mustangs/Corvettes that were way faster.

To each his own I guess right? Some people are fine w/ a stock, low maintenance 13 second car. Others are fine with having to tinker with a car all the time, pushing the limits of what has been done.

Hehe, I've raced only one of those. I ran him on the street the first month I moved here to Lubbock. He was goosing it and so I just went WOT and started walking away from him. We did this twice, then he was like "You wanna go from a dig!?" I was up for it, but he just drove to a house that had a Black Notchback and got out, we decided not to stick around.
Anyway, I have nothing but a healthy respect for any car that is done tastefully, thoughtfully or is just Batsh*t insane.

To me that's just not as impressive. I can definitely appreciate all the work that goes into making a car like that, but the potential that those V6s bring is just not my cup of tea.
Obviously you have your supras and skylines with 6 cylinders running crazy times, but that's not really what I'm saying.
