Of course I am, I mean no Ford could ever hang with a vette. Hell I lost to a V6 Camaro the other day. You my friend are ignorant about the car and i would expect you to make the comments you keep posting. I never said anything negative about the Vette or any F Body car, other than that a Cobra putting out over 600HP would not lose to a Vette. Show me all the vids you want I could care less. Unless your racing to 200 the Vette will not win, period.

Yeah the C6Z is sick and the new ZR1 is insane, not affordable for most, but still extremely impressive. But you have got to give credit to Ford for the Terminator.

 

That vid is of a KB Cobra that puts down 590RWHP vs a C6 Z06 vette that puts down 495RWHP. If you can watch the vid you will see the Z06 walk the Cobra. There is my proof.

 

Everyone knows that it takes a Mustang more power to run equal with a Corvette, especially topend. But the DOHC 4.6, the LS7, and the LS9 are all fantastic motors capable of putting down more power (with very minimal work) than most of us would know what to do with.

You keep watching those you tube vids bud, when i see a C6Z "walk" a 590hp cobra i'll buy one. Now most KB/Whippled Cobras are putting out more than 590. Not on a conservative tune of course, but you get the idea. I'm sure there are vids of Z06's getting walked by Cobras online.

I have no doubt that the Vette won but definately not walked the Cobra, and I did not say all Cobras are quicker than C6Z06's

So when are you going to buy your new C6 Z06??? Cuz I just watched the video and...yep.....that Z06 WALKED the 590HP Cobra.

 

I didn't watch all of the 2nd video (though I did see the "430rwhp for the Mustang), but in that first video the Z06 damn sure didn't "walk" the Cobra. He jumped a little when the Cobra shifted, but from there it was just a slow crawl.

 

Ok so our definitions of "walk" are different. Either way a 495HP Vette beat that 590HP KB Cobra.

And in the beginning it says "604 RWHP" for the Cobra.

 

In the beginning of the second video? I know that the Cobra in the first video was about 600rwhp. Saw that video a LONG time ago.

THIS ARGUEMENT IS BEAT!!!!! Everyone knows that chevy guys are jealous of how easily the the 03-04 cobras make power with boltons and the ford guys are jealous that a cam bolton ls1 will easily make over 400 to the wheels in a much less expensive car.

 

Yes. In the beginning of the second video it shows the Cobra and says 604 RWHP. The 430 RWHP is for the KB Mach 1.

 

I was always curious about why there are ford guys on this forum. I'm not trying to start a fight. I would take a KB Cobra or Power Stroke truck as quick as i would take an LSX or Duramax with an Allison Transmission. It always made me curious why did you join here?
