Well this is a car website. And *most* of us are just car guys. Do you think that since I own a Mustang, that's all I care for or know about? I'm also a member of several Honda forums and a couple V6 Mustang sites among others.

 

 

well i understand that this is a car forum...but its geared towards lsx, specifically ls1, owners (hence the name LS1tech)...i love fast cars just as much as the next guy but i wouldnt think of being a member on svt sites or vtak sites...i guess it just depends on the "car guy" in question.

Well this car wasn't my first, second, or third choice... those had LSx motors in them

 

I have NO problem with the Blue Oval Boys being on here.
In fact, I think it is way cool that they even want to be here. And unlike many on here, I actually like their rides, and NOT just the '03-'04 Cobras either!
No, what I have a problem with is that the vast majority of them on here seem to be the biggest import/rice/foreign defenders to be found ANYWHERE!!! Sometimes to the point of dissing their own car vs. praising an import nameplate.
Sometimes they even defend/support/praise the import nameplates MORE than do even the staunchly loyal import owners themselves!!!!

This I will NEVER understand.

I don't have a problem here. I just wondered what makes you post here. I'll go to other sites and read stuff about other cars but don't want to take the time to sign up just to post once. I don't know. No problem with you guys being here it brings in all the views of life and not just a biased LSX opinion. Even though it really is hard to find a better motor...

 

I think he's talking about me mostly, cuz I like all sorts of cars. He doesn't seem to be able to understand that, and even goes so far as to **** up other people's threads telling everyone how much he disapproves of it.

You guys are funny, what mustang guys rave about imports? Was that sarcastic? The main reason I joined this forum is because I was thinking about buying a vette a while ago, or possibly a nice anniversary WS6 or SS. And to use the search function on a site you have to join, in most cases. I don't understand why you would complain about a Ford guy commenting on "your" site, there are plenty of you guys on "our" site posting all the time. It's nice to get input from both sides, and not all Ford owners are not knowledgable about the LS motors.

When someone posts a comment about us "needing" blowers to hang with imports some my want to comment on that opinion. And I did.
