Re: Mustang GT VS Silverado.... We never raced from a dead stop....But we rounded the corner and got on it at the same time, and he was a ways behind me.....I am sure he will tell a much differant story. I am suprised that he has not posted as of yet.

Re: Mustang GT VS Silverado.... OK, here it is, a the risk of starting a $hit talking fest....I do not like to street race, but I knew this had to be done!
I was out driving around enjoying the cool Los Angeles evening, its been over 100 every day this week. I came up on a new mustang pulling into the 7-11 and I noticed that it looked alot like the pic that we all enjoyed a few weeks back.
As I drove by, I put the truck in Neutral and gave him a litte rev.....He backed out of the parking lot and gave chase...We both turned the corner about a mile from where I saw him and got on it about the same time....when I looked back he was a distance behind me, cant say how much, but it was not close. We continued to get on it a few more times and I finally decided to stop wasteing my gas (just filled up 3 min before) We then stoped at the light together, and he asked if I was blown chevy and I said "yes, and you must be 281cipwr" I asked about his mods and the light turned green.....the road we were headed down has a few blind corners and there have been a few tragic accedents there is the past few months so I decided not to play there, I did not want to seen anyone get hurt.......
I asked him if the $hit talking was going to end now and he said "yes" After that we both went our separate ways and that was that.
I can tell you this, pulling on someone from a 10-15 mph roll and continueing to pull on them is a show of brute HP, and if we were to race off the line, he might get me in the first 60 feet but after that I will pass him, this is the same with all the mustangs I have faced in the past, unless they were blown. Like I keep saying, he was not that bad in person.
P.S.: How did my new exhaust cut out sound? I just had it done that day!

Re: Mustang GT VS Silverado.... hey!! yo im here and i will not talk **** blown chevy was also a cool guy ..and yes.. i would lose... ill admit it bro your truck is bad *** ...your truck pretty much sounds like a lightning (not a bad thing ) def all i could hear was the blower ... like he said we never went from a dig ...the way i saw it is when he would punch it i was usually a lil behind not much like 1/2 car or so ..id say the best run i was behind like 3-4 cars @ around 100 since i was hittin redline in third and already in fourth ..fast truck nuff said and he proved it and thats that ...i would be interested in seeing him race my bro;s lightning though cause he beats me by about the same amount ..would be a good run ..well blownchevy def made a a single cab silverado just as fast as a lightning much props ..until next time ..peace

Re: Mustang GT VS Silverado.... oh ill let you guys in on my mods now ....stock engine ..thorttle body,k&n,gears,alum d/s,shifter , upper and lower chassis braces,subframes,eibachs, thas all folks ..its geared well and fairly quick i think ..ok obviously i got in over my head with blown chevy but hey i lost didnt i ? my punishment i guess was losing ...btw..blownchevy ? did you like my car ?well loosk wise did it look clean ? or what i just want a perspective of someone else ... well hopefully soon ill be able to put down a lil more power to the ground ..and hang with you *****' peace

Is 281 a thug w/ prison tattoos or something? Blownchevy, you have lots of class to be so subtle, or something else has dictated the tone.
