it wasnt that argument at all. eleanor was talking about the "downfalls" of lt1s(which he never came back and explained) so i thought id point out the fact that an lt1 car is a reasonably priced platform to start a build with. with my other 12k i could make it ALOT faster than an 07 gt.

yeah, and ford guys like cobras. so why buy a gt for what you could have a termi for ? ? ? 19k will get you one that runs decent with some mileage on it.22k should get you one with reasonable mileage on it. its you guys that are on here ALL the time talking 04 cobra this and 04 cobra that.so if all you stang guys love them so much why did any of you buy a 05-up gt ? ? ? i also think its funny how you had nothing to say when i made a response to your "mod for mod" argument but you jumped on this like a lab screwing a poodle. you take your bull**** somewhere else!

Anyway, flipping your arguement around. Put a set of ported 3v heads and a set of cams on an S197 and see what it puts down. Now do H/C for an LT1 and compare.
You said mod for mod right

The bang for the buck arguement isn't even close.
LT1's can be had for 3K-4K, are iron block 350ci, nearly 300bhp and have just as much, if not more potential then the new stangs.
Youre talking about a car that runs stock/lightly modded LS1's down with only bolt ons and gets great results from Heads & Cam work for a fast way and easy way to get an 11 second car.
LE2 packages are cheap, and with all supporting mods and a tune you wouldn't need much cash and youve got a 400hp car.
There are many members on here boasting 350-420rwhp with simple LE1/LE2 packages and bolt ons.
If youre just looking for speed, and for cheap, LT1's are hard to beat if you know what youre doing. Fox bodies are great mod puppies too, but they start off with 75 less hp, and 48 less cubes.
Light little bastards though.

i dont like the 04 cobras that much if i did for the money i have in my car i could have a 1000rwhp cobra, but you know what i didnt want one, i wanted a uniqe lookin good power daily driven street car, and that is what i have. n i never argued back with you because you didnt say anything worth responding about, just ignored the fact that i was right about a 3v supercharged stang making more power at the same amount of boost as a stock lt1 with the same, i never said anything about them runnin more boost bla bla bla or whatever you were crying about

if car A(3v) is making more power than car B(LT1) at the same boost level, it is fairly safe to say that car A has less restriction. what are you trying to say?
