And I could build a foxbody that would make an LT1 cry for the same money... it's a we-todd-did argument.

You're a tard. STOCK auto S197's put down 270-275 on a regular basis. With those mods, he's between 290-305rwhp.

Sorry. 97 LT1 formy H/C 417 RWHP.

Anyway, flipping your arguement around. Put a set of ported 3v heads and a set of cams on an S197 and see what it puts down. Now do H/C for an LT1 and compare.

You said mod for mod right I am a NA guy all the way so go figure.

I like your car and props.

The bang for the buck arguement isn't even close.
LT1's can be had for 3K-4K, are iron block 350ci, nearly 300bhp and have just as much, if not more potential then the new stangs.

Youre talking about a car that runs stock/lightly modded LS1's down with only bolt ons and gets great results from Heads & Cam work for a fast way and easy way to get an 11 second car.
LE2 packages are cheap, and with all supporting mods and a tune you wouldn't need much cash and youve got a 400hp car.
There are many members on here boasting 350-420rwhp with simple LE1/LE2 packages and bolt ons.

If youre just looking for speed, and for cheap, LT1's are hard to beat if you know what youre doing. Fox bodies are great mod puppies too, but they start off with 75 less hp, and 48 less cubes.
Light little bastards though.

thats what is nice about foxes. stock doesnt mean ****. the aftermarket is huge and everything is relatively cheap.

im sorry you didnt understand anything i said. i was merely explaining why your argument about same psi doesnt hold weight. i cant waste anymore time trying to explain it to you.

Not that there is anything wrong with the LE1 kit, but why didn't you go LE2??

if car A(3v) is making more power than car B(LT1) at the same boost level, it is fairly safe to say that car A has less restriction. what are you trying to say?

I belive they only made the true blue in 01. Easiest way to tell a 99 and 01 apart. 99 Cobra says mustang on the rear bumper, 01 Cobra says cobra on the rear bumper

Understandable. I spin my stock bottom end to 6500 now but once I spray I won't go over 6100-6200
