You guys are hating on a guy that owns a focus! Give him a break. J/K. I agree I would think that the mustang would of had a car or more on him but who knows. Once again it's street racing to many variables.

Ya theres a lot of variables. Guy in the GT doesnt hook well with his street tires i think thats part of the reason i had him. He's taken me before on some really crappy rough street. Tires are really weird they hook up on some roads. when i raced him on smooth clean road i put car on him. Seem's tires and road surface had a roll on that out come.
The owner of the GT runs his car just about every weekend from what i hear, im sure he was pushing the car all the way, i doubt he would have taken it easy on me. Least now got an idea how lightly moded GT's do

I think LT1's are slow because I think LT1's are slow.

Nice win with the LT1. I like the new GT's....much stronger than in years past, however they still seem to be lacking a bit in comparison to a bone stock LS1. As for comparing it to the LT1....they both seem pretty equal to me. Both would've easily taken my L98 Corvette when it was bone stock. Just my humble $.02.

The same mag times have a 96 SS running a 13.6
My A4 2.73 with only a K&N Filter, 245/50 Goodyears and Mobil 1 ran a 13.89 @ 99 and I had a better pass in it.
Barely...if any.
13.5 for a new GT is being nice considering what I have seen.
Yep. I guess stock LS1's run 13.8's...
Ya know its getting bad when people start quoting mag times.
Its also funny when Cobra owners say LT1's are slow when a 390bhp car runs low 13's.
LT1's run that with 300rwhp.
I'd love to see a 400rwhp LT1 race a 400rwhp Cobra.
Better put the Camera in the Cobra
