When my buddy had his 05 GT with only intake/exhaust... and my current mots below, between him and I, it was a drivers race. Whoever hooked up better won. I dont give a **** what books say. a new 05 GT vs. a good running LT1 = drivers race

The Cobra has the edge, but not by much.
And stock Cobra vs LT1?
What about a same year Cobra vs an LT1... like say, a 96 M6 SS Vs a 96 Cobra? Or even a 98/99/00/01 whatever.
Or lets put as much money into the LT1 as it costs to buy the 03-04
Cobra? If you want to compare a 2004 car that comes with a supercharger to a car 11 years older with GenII technology and laugh about the difference suit yourself.
When you said
stock cobra against stock lt1 = very bad day for lt1.
Thats like saying,
C6 Z06 against 03-04 Cobra /or GT500 = Very bad day for Cobra

I think LT1's are slow because I think LT1's are slow.
