Default Dodge Ram Hemi

Ram Hemi-Was at a light the other day and this Hemi rolls up next to me. The kid starts reving the beast and laughing and smiling looking down at me. I see the Hemi badge on the front fender, ahh so I didn't want to race-trying to stop. But he just kept reving that truck and pissing me off so I reved back . Now he starts to stage and revs till the light turns grean. I hit it and of course spun the tires all over, so I let up. He is now about 3 cars or should I say trucks ahead. Once I get traction, my car slings forward like a bullit and I fly passed him...lane merged ahead so I slow down, when I did I was about 3-4 cars ahead of him. He then stayed back that distance, guess he wont rev and laugh at LS1s anymore... Seems like those hemis have alot of torque...but thats it. I was looking for specs on them but couldn't find any. Anyone know? I am sure its not that impressive, since they are soo heavy.

They're rated at 345 hp at the crank, but only put down like 270 rwhp (or something close to it). There's really nothing special about them, but good kill.

I had a new tundra try me friday night, light turned, and I stayed on it just enough to keep his front bumper behind the door, ya know, half throttle and short shifting, him winding it out. Don't know why trucks think they can hang, I know there are some that can, but 95% can't. Good kill to the op, it's always fun to shut someone up.

Most of the hemi boys don't understand that their trucks tip the scales at 5k lbs.

^ mine weighed 5420. It was a quad cab but they only weigh 300 lbs. more than the regular cab. So a RCSB would be about 5100. Some guys are in the 12's with them but there trap isn't much over 100 they have to cut like a 1.7 60 foot to get in the 12's. But don't try and tell them they aren't fast they get defensive as hell.

I think I get more goobers in Dodge hemi trucks than any other vehicle trying to mess with me. Hemi+5klbs=slow as ****. Thats the sticker they should get instead of "yeah, it's got a hemi"

Friend at work wanted to see how his scsb hemi truck compared to my car one day......When my car downshifted to 2nd @ 65 by the time I hit third he was like 6 back in like 2 or 3 seconds.

Racing against a quadcab 2wd Hemi is like racing a stock 305 IROC. Ive got one of these trucks and Ive had a 305IROC and they ran the exact same times in the 1/8 as each other:

I ran my 5.7 hemi grand cherokee at the strip for fun. It ran 15.1 @89mph with AWD. It launches nice, with a little spin on the front left tire.

seen an awd srt8 cherokee run an 11.7, and it beat an acr viper(11.9), though I herd the jeep had a 150 shot or something, I still think it was a hennessy cherokee.

not really a hard task to do hahaha but good kill to the OP. i raced my buddies daytona 2 times in a row from a dig . . . killed him big time both times, he never had a chance after the second one he said his tires were way to expensive to race anymore, but he does have a nice TA so i can't knock him too much

People with HEMI's are just confident because it says HEMI. My dad seems to think that our new Chrysler Aspen with the 5.7 HEMI would hang with my car. I think my old Cavy Z24 would beat it without any problems.
